  1. 1) I am the petitioner and i did not put my address as the choice of agent i put the beneficiary address in Peru!!!!! :crying: Very bad move

    2) I did not do the right RESEARCH and I ended up sending a DS230 WITHOUT the civil documents.

Now : An RFE has been sent to the beneficiary/agent and of course that will take forever to arrive because he is in Peru. I know what they are requesting and I will have thos documents here in the US by Monday.

    QUESTIONS:

1)Should i sent the documents along with the DS230 again WITHOUT the RFE or should i wait for the RFE????????? But why would i wait when i have everything ohhhhh this is frustrating!!!!!!!

    2) Can i again have my husband e-mail a NEW choice of agent that way they can re-send the RFE to me????? That is also going to delay my process one more month :crying: Everything was going so well until now. PLEASE HELP ME.

For those who are just starting do your research so you dont have to suffer like mw for things that you could have donde right from the start.

Well, when i recieved my RFE,i had to send the requested documents along with the "rfe"or the copy of the "RFE" otherwise, sending it without the "RFE form"may also cause delays.Maybe call them, explain what happened, maybe they can send to you,a new "RFE".

  2. there are a few getting appoved, i recieved my approval last week, and i was hoping my petitions would have made it to the NVC by now,i called today no such luck, some more waiting......VSC is so freakin' slow,...they probably haven't sent my petitions yet to NVC......you know, when they get to it....i guess, they will send it.

well, good luck to the rest of you still waiting.....it totally sucks

  4. OK so I am totally thinking about immergration issues and foreign policy so please excuse me for this question but what do you peeps think??? Do you think the new presidant may help or hinder us? And which one in regards to helping us? September is around the corner and wondering your thoughts?[/size]

all the candidates running, are the same....clueless!!!!

    nothing will change,business as usual.

  5. I recieved an rfe this week,it is requesting for my divorce certificate, the divorce certificate i originally mailed did not have the government seal(stamp) on it....so,something pretty simple to correct,it just pisses me off, waiting 9 months,a dozen touches since feb. and months later...by the way,we need some more evidence.......couldn't tell me this sooner.well, what are you gonna do,....endure the torture the best you can !!!!!

  6. Has anyone seen new processing dates yet?K3 is dated October for both centers but for I-130 is still July at Vermont and CSC went backwards to August 19.What is going on?This means that they are making no progress at all.

JECA..........I just checked now it still on march 15 lol has not been updated........But i got a dream though that mine was approved lol :dance:

Hmm,USCIS wants to torture us,now they want to play tricks on us !!!! i am looking at their website,i got the april 15th update......but these processing times,it is a joke, there is no standard to who is getting approved.some are waiting from august to get aproved, there is a few that sent their petitions in ,in feb. already aproved....anyway their lies state,I-130 july 30th for I-129f october 18th(for the VSC).And the CSC has gone backwards?.....ah you got to love USCIS.....amazing !!!!

  7. We're in the exact same situation as you guys. We filed in September and we have almost 7 months of waiting. At least we got an RFE for the I-129f..this was 18 days ago...at least they're working on it, right?! We sent back the RFE response after 5 days and we haven't heard from USCIS for almost 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted. I'm happy we're not alone in this.

Hello MAdie, I am in the same boat as you. My I-130 was sent in September and it wasn`t until the end of December that I got my NOA1. NOW I wait and wait and wait for something to happen. I have talked to others who filed in September and have already been approved. It`s very discouraging, especiallyt for my wife who waits patiently in Bucharest. The only good thing I can say is that I know I`ll be seeing her in the summer for our 1st anniversary. This is the most trying thing I have even gone through.

    regards,

    William

    Ditto's here,

i am in the same boat,September filer.Only bright spot is i am going to see my wife in China in 2 weeks.

good luck to everyone.....this is torture !!!!!!

  8. hello there...

anybody there... or should i say... hey you are alone... :crying:

I got touch Apirl 14, 2008 for my I -129F... but not an approval  so what's the use. :crying:

Life really sucks :crying::crying::crying: no good news... i really so sad :crying::crying:

My I-130 if already 8months old.. I-129F 7months old... :crying:

what could possibly be the reason for this??? ooohh my goodness :angry:

i want to shout out loud to say I am :crying::help:

what can we do about this.... :hehe:

You might want to give it a week and watch your mail. We had a touch on 3/30 and then received letter confirmation of NOA2 9 days later by postal….stating we were approved 4/2, and still there is no reference to status on USCIS website, nor an email from them.

You can also try to call and talk to someone…to see if there is a problem. My understanding is that they are working on September and October at this moment… assuming there are no difficult problems with the petition.

Touches mean someone scanned your file in, but what they did is unknown.

    Best of luck and speed.

i am like u wating, when u call the tell u the same bs, u still in prossing time

yeah,it is pointless calling,i called last week,i had one of the nasty persons so far, on the other end, telling me,what i already know.and the usual "wait" is all they know how to say.

  9. Kris,

Those are great words luv, however, after reading some other threads about these delays whilst some are done in four months - and lets not even even discuss the I129f stand alones please , something has to be done somewhere for these people. Should we start contacting the newspapers again - Washington Post anything - this is WRONG and we all know it. The words that will comfort anyone at this point that have been waiting over seven months plus are these..................

YOUR I-130 is approved.............................and thats about it hun.

El, Jon, get ahold of your Congress person or Senator or screw it, both, and hammer them day in and day out for help- its election year, they want a vote, they can do their job for it.

    xxxxxxx

yes Susie, I think it's time to start hammering away again, when i got my NOA1 8 weeks ago after 4 month wait, i was on cloud nine, now it is just pure torture,....how long does it take to approve a petition....i mean for God sake move these petitions along already....unbelieveable,really unbelieveable......

    jimi

  10. wow, you are pretty long too.. :crying: :crying: but I have to quit my government job (and lifestyle) and sell my car too to move back.. but it is worth it.. I rather not earn a lot and be with her, than earn a lot and not be with her.. but the good thing is I will go back next month to be with her for 2 1/2 weeks =) Yay.. I am excited about that.. I bought her a camera for our 1st year anniversary =)

for those interested in cars , it is a nice car =) .. but I would sell it in an instant to be with her =)

  11. hello

does anybody have an idea about filing a complain to OMBUDSMAN???

do you think it will help??/

when do you think is the right time???:blush:

It can't hurt,i wrote to the OMBUDSMAN,they did reply back, but it was like 3-4 weeks after i wrote them,so again....name of the game wait...wait ...wait

and then they really didn't help much other than ""we will look into it" I wrote also to my congressman, they help some, they didn't move any mountains, but they tried.

  12. OK. Thanks for the sermon. If there was another way to get any information about a pending case, we wouldn't have to use the RFE line. Since that isn't the case, I suppose people will have to continue using it.

I wasn't aware that reminding readers of the correct purpose of the line would be 'sermonizing'.

What should we call your position that it's ok to abuse the access granted to those who have a concern beyond their case status?

Really, not to start trouble, but the only abuse here is USCIS,....if they had a decent system, none of us would be waiting and wondering, after all some of us are still waiting for NOA2 since August and September.Unfortunetly if you call up the service center, you get no good information.it is a joke.People want to know the status of their case, they paid money, they waited patiently. If the RFE line is a way to get the info,we are going to use it.Move the petitions along, and no one would have to use the RFE line......

    sorry for my sermon.

  13. All,

Does anyone know if paying for the accelerated / "premium processing" for the I-129F form actually works? I'm not sure how one could actually tell whether or not it made a difference but I thought I would ask anyway.

    Thanks,

    CrazyGujju

No such thing. Your thread title is correct. Premium processing is available for I-129, not I-129F.

If there was such a thing,I think we'd all go for that service at this point.Who cares what it would cost, just to get this process moving.

  14. Hi!

I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this question.

The USCIS post their processing dates supposedly each month, and as we are all aware the bloody I-130 at Vermont went backwards this month.

Are these processing dates relevant to when you first file your petition to the USCIS and they give you the date they receive it, or when you get NOA-1?

So we filed our I-130 to the USCIS with a date received there of Sept 10th 2007, this would hopefully mean only another month and a bit to wait. Our NOA-1 has a date of Dec 27th, which would mean 5 more months to wait!

So does anyone know which one it is? Hopefully the first one as we have already been in this coming close to 7 months, another 5 months for approval is crazy! And people are now getting approved who filed after us, in a fairly short time.

Hope to hear some ideas soon.

    Cheers

    Dave

I don't have the answer, but I hope it is the date the application was received.I am right around your time, september 26th,and this wait is unbelieveable , like you,I am wondering, and I am happy for all of us getting our NOA2,but can someone tell me why people are getting approved who filed after my date.some getting approved in a short time frame.

it is not making sense......I mean it took me 4 months to get an NOA1.....How long now for the NOA2?

  15. From the Philippines VJ members alone who fill up their timeline here, only 5 of us left. i would like to name them:

    Nova & Neil (who file thier I-130 july 6,2007), M29 & R01 I-130 July 10, 2007, Marjorie & Bill july 12,2007, Brucelene july 18, 2007, and Joern & Jens july 27, 2007.

How do the USCIS afford to approve the August K3 filers and September filers, while we're still here waiting for our NOA2 :crying::crying: . Both hands of ours still holding the very little edge of the rope. And I want to hold on tight. I just can’t afford to see others got approval while we’re still in here :( . ANYBODY, can :help::help: ? We need your opinions and advise pleasessss. The USCIS changed already their Timeframe since March 15. They’re now in SEPTEMBER 9, 2007. HOW ABOUT US JULY? :crying:

Hope everybody can give us opinions and advises. We appreciate it so much.It will inspire us. Thank You and Good luck to all of us here.

    GOD BLESS…

Hell of a long time to be waiting for a NOA2.I thought my wait was long,I filed mine september,i didn't get an NOA1,until february 1st,i am still waiting for an NOA2.

Did you call up USCIS and ask them whats the hold up?

    jimi

  16. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pUr...RR7hdWQYg3KbwRg is the right spreadsheet to get a clear view of what VSC is up to.

Unfortunately, that spreadsheet is not a clear picture of what VSC is doing because it leaves out those who applied for I-129F in addition to their I-130 (which are probably a majority of married filers).

Not only that, some in August are still waiting for an NOA2,while some in November already have theres, and one sent in Feb. already has there NOA2!!!!!!!!WOW !!!!!.......

oh i get it ,the" clear picture" is.......USCIS is unclear.

    It certainly leaves me baffled.

  17. I pray that our visas are granted, that our loved ones can join us and I believe our relationships will be most meaningful as we know how to be patient and keep our love constant and strong through these times of great distances across the oceans.

    Tammy

I think thats the irony of all this,.....i sometimes get the impression USCIS thinks making this journey a long wait, will make our relationships strained, grow weary of the process, but in fact,it only makes our relationships even stronger.

    jimi

  18. think of it this way-

Person A gives you 20 potatoes to peel in one hour.

1 hour later Person A gives you 200 potatoes to peel in the same amount of time.

In the 3rd hour Person A gives you 20 potatoes to peel.

Do you think you will catch up by the 4th hour?

    --or am I delusional?

I'm saying this cuz I've worked in mailroom situations where its near impossible to "catch up" And then throw in constantly changing rules--geez gotta give em a break. They are human and will also make mistakes.

a good point, but when you are getting paid to "catch up" you do catch up,it is how it works in the real world.USCIS seems to not be in the real world,Yes,we all make mistakes, and USCIS made some mistakes....the problem is...they are not admitting it(at least not to us)......Mistakes were made.....FIX em, thats how it works in the real world, and after all,i don't know about you,but their service wasn't free !!!! I paid for this crappy service.

and thats what it is crappy service,i mean we all know this is a long journey, but they just made a long journey, even longer.....give them a break? are they giving you a break?....just something to think about.

  19. i don't know what to do, my two checks have been cashed last Jan. 15 but i still haven't received any NOA-1 receipts. i am really worried because i am an early october filer and it seems everone has been receiving their NOA-1 receipts. i am getting a k3 and k4 visa for my hubby and 19th month old baby.is there anything i can do or any number to call? i tried checking the case number at the back oh the checks but it seems it's still not in the system. please help/ thanks in advance

usually ur receipt number is scribbled on the back of the check copy. might want to get a check copy from the bank and enlarge it to see if u can read the receipt number

yes, dittos on that, get a copy of the check,if you have online banking, you can see the check, front and back online,if you do not have online banking, apply for it with your bank,it is real simple, that is what i did,the number will be stamped on the back of the check,it was very clear to see....but where to send the I-129 if you haven't yet done this,is questionable, because this USCIS gets more and more bizzare ,on my check it was stamped CSC(california service center),so i am thinking that is where i need to send my I-129....wrong !!!! i get my NOA1 3 days after check was cashed. my NOA1 says Vermont service center, and to top that off,it was mailed from Chicago.very strange.

some people are getting their NOA right away, others it seems to take forever !!!! but yeah, try to get a copy of your check, even if you have to order a physical copy from the bank,it will probably be quicker than waiting on USCIS.

    good luck

    jimi

  20. trust me you re sooooooooooo not alone!! we all feel ur pain .... or has been thru it ....

again like the others said ... keep the faith and always look at this process as a test for your love... and u will see how strong your love will be and how u will appreciate eachother even more when this process ends ;)

    (L)(F)

    So true !!!!

    well said !!!
