Is this to verify that she didn't commit any crimes and etcs? Is this a part of DS260 process?

Hi, I applied for I-130 spousal visa for my wife and she is now waiting in Korea. In the meantime, she has an offer to work in Japan from a US base company while she is waiting on spousal visa to be approved then she will move to the US with the green card to continue to work with that company. Would her moving and working in Japan create any issues (delay or denial) with I-130 approval and finally getting spousal visa? 

She plans to come back to Korea for the US consular interview when the paperwork is all approved by NVC.
