They send a email to both the beneficiary and petitioner. We received an approval on 7/7/23, was sent to NVC 7/13/23 and we received our welcome email on 8/7/23, paid the fees 8/7/23 and received an email 8/8/23 to upload documents. I'm not sure if my attorney contacting them a week ago helped speed up the process. Here are some helpful links that may help speed up the process for the welcome letter as well as which date NVC is currently working on. Hope this helps.

You'll need to click on NVC Process below to open the visa journey page for helpful tips.
Thank you

Morning! I received my approval on July 13th but still haven't received the welcome email from NVC. Do they send it to the beneficiary or the US citizen by email or mail? Thanks in advance!

I'm just preparing the required documents for my CR1 interview, do I need my spouse's original W2 or is a copy ok?
Also he received his 2023 W2, should I also bring it? He hasn't received all his slips yet to file his 2023 taxes so I probably won't have it in time.
