  2. Hello to everyone!

Good morning and God's blessings! Wanted to ask, what song(s) says it best. When you think of your fiance(ee), what song comes to mind? Which one exemplifies the love, the yearning, everything, you feel for your spouse? For me , I just love, Oleta Adams', "Get Here". "There are hills and mountains between us, always something to get over, if i had my way surely, you would be closer, I need you closer......"

    Tell what you think!

  3. Hi everyone :) I'm confused as usual and would appreciate some input. I met my Nigerian fiance in Kenya where we were both attending university, lived together for two years, yada yada. I came back to the US and we filed at the beginning of March (approx. 102 days spent waiting thus far). We thought at the time that he would continue living in Nairobi, so when I submitted our application I indicated that we would like the approval sent on to the embassy in Kenya so he could interview there.

However, plans have changed a little bit, and he will be heading home to Nigeria in late July. He's going to have to do the interview in Lagos. My question is, does he need to submit a change of address form, or is there any other form that we need to submit to indicate that the approved application should be sent to Lagos instead of Nairobi?

    Thanks for your help!

    -Kathleen

Hi Kathleen, yes, you need to contact the USCIS center where you filed your petition and give them a change of address

for the beneficiary. I think you can do this online on their website. Do not just call and change the address over the phone. This is

how I got so screwed up and am still in this process. Then you may want to call afterwards to make sure they changed your SO address. My finace who was in Vietnam moved once I filed the petition back to Nigeria and I had a very hard time getting his case moved to Nigeria after it left California service center.

  7. I was wondering since NAA is no longer operating direct flights out of Lagos Nigeria to New York, if there are other airlines available.

Delta airlines has a direct flight from Atlanta it departs Atlanta daily at 4:30P.M. and arrives in Lagos,Nigeria at 9:25 A.M. the next morning. Delta will also have a direct flight leaving JFK starting in June of 2008.

  8. I would really like to know what you find out. I had heard the process and fees had changed but sorry I don't know anything about it. PM VJ member, Vee I think I remember her asking about visas to Nigeria if you can get in touch with her I think she was planning on going back there or research her posts. Also I think Nixz Chi went to Niaja in Dec. Maybe someone will be able to help.

    Wish you Luck!

Thanks Amy! I've missed u lately :luv:

    Hello ladies,

I am leaving for Nigeria on March 15th. Yes now you have to submit the information on line at www.immigration.gov.ng

Once you complete the application it wil take you the payment screen. You then have to pay $112.00 by credit card. Once completed, print out the receipt and mail that to the embassy of choice here in the US, along with all other usual documents, passport, invitation letter, Itenirary, passport photos, etc. etc. It appears that the application on line is being sent right to the embassy in Nigeria along with the $112.00. Now the $20.00 money order apart from the $112.000 paid on line goes along with your package to the embassy here. So it's a total if $132.00

I got my visa from the consulate of Nigeria in Atlanta and paid only a $112.00 and had it in 3 days. I visited Nigeria on the 9th of this month. You have to pay online and print the application and receipt and send it in with the other information. Its Nigerian immigration services be sure to include a express mail envelope.

Hummmm hasen't changed that much since 2004, we didn't have to send to $20.00 back then tho. In 2004 we had to send the cost of the visa $100.00 and a self addressed paid enveloped Federal Express that was all.
