  1. They did kept the passport and asked for document to be uploaded eventhough I did uploaded everything now they want 1040 or irs tax return transcript not the wage and income transcript. Recieved 221(g)just hoping it doesnt take forever.

    The officer told him they will issue the visa as soon as he can upload the document online.

  2. My husband's been to Dubai for work and our interview is on January 3.

    I updated the latest tax return information and still in process of submitting updated AOS application which also even expires on December 31 2023. He had two passports and he traveled to Dubai on the old passport and I put in the DS 260 the recent passport info so it's still stressing me out. On the Ceac website when you submit documents it says uploaded does it update or says accepted after a week or two? Like the rest of the documents has like a check mark and says accepted.

    Things we got ready for January 3rd

     *He already got his medical done

    *Has police reports from Pakistan and  Dubai

    *my travel reservations

    *our pictures together

    *6 passport size photos

    * covid/polio vaccine cards

    * 3 types marriage certificates

    * birth certificate for both of us

    * Ds 260 confirmation

    * dubai visa cancellation

    @Angel678 I believe You have to update your AOS with your job info all recent paystubs W2 and tax return and updated W2, paystub tax return of your dad as a joint sponsor as he's the sponsor B4 in paperwork and maybe your income needs joint sponsor to qualify. If anyone have better answers please

    I don't have w2 or tax return from 2023 or previous years. Have recently started working. Maybe if I submit the AOS of my dad and the joint sponsor and have my husband take my new job letter along for interview.

  4. Just a month away from my husband's DQ in April 10. I am so nervous as time is coming closer I am thinking to prepare ahead of time. When I submitted Affidavit of Support with w2. I submitted my dad's information along with someone else's as I was not working at that time but since now that I recently started working do I have to submit all info of my own documents? Or the same way my dad's w2 along with someone else?

    Repost

    I just started working recently and it's my first job but before when we filed for affidavit we have put in all information of my dad tax documents so am just concern if now when our IL comes I would need to still give recently updated tax info on my dad or my job info with verification letter

  6. So does it not take 16 17 months because  looking at all the previous posts  from here it was around 16 months of wait and they are in March so we should definitely keep hope even though it's not easy. I applied for my husband in 2020 and still have a long wait until the interview.
