I placed a service request on 24th Oct to upgrade my I-130.Called back on 14th Nov to check if it went through and the lady said she will place another service request to expedite the case as it is out of normal processing time.I haven't heard any thing back,no emails or touches or any thing confirming my upgrade .I was so happy when I got my citizenship cuz I thought things will move faster but it doesnt seem like it.

How long on average does it take to get a response for a request to expedite or a service request??????I was told 45 days , yesterday was the 45th day for my 1st service request so I will check back tomorrow with USCIS but I think they will just try to get me off the line and place another request.

Should I go ahead for K-3 instead of waiting for NOA2???????

When I became a citizen I sent VCS a letter with my husband's info and a copy of my naturalization certificate in the mail.. My case was updated in less than 30 days

Five months after his interview my husband was called to pick up his passport with visa. WOO HOO!!!

Since my Husband's interview on 6/23/08 we are waiting for the visa. He was told he is approved and needed to submit additional documents. He submitted the documents but no word on the visa status. My husband called the Dhaka embassy but was told to send email for questions.. I emailed the embassy last month and again last week. I received no response back. I called DOS today and they said the embassy never sent it to them for processing. I am not sure what to do next. Any advice on this issue?

When my husband had his interview on June 23, 2008 The Embassy did not have our Marriage certificate. I sent it to NVC and the counselor admitted they lost it.... My husband was handed a blue sheet and We submitted a dulicate 3 days later. We are still waiting for a visa. It has been3 months and no word on when we will get the visa. Still go but don't be surprise if it take long to get visa

The embassy asked my husband to return with our marriage certificate becaue they never received it and gave him a blue sheet. He went to the embassy and turned in the certificate (although I submitted it to NVC 2 months ago) The guy at the window told him his visa is officially approve but the embassy needs him to fill out an additional questionaire form to further process his visa. Does this mean he was put on AP?
