I just wanted to add my congratulations too. I am so happy for you! I have been quietly watching your journey and pulling for you (I don't post much anymore). But, this made my day. I wish you a long and happy life together.

Send a PM to another member - Nizzy (I believe). Her husband/financee was a refugee in Toronto and interviewed through Montreal. They are in the States now.

My visa journey/marriage ended for other reasons, but my ex-husband was a refugee in Toronto from Algeria too. We just had to provide copies of all the refugee paperwork to the Montreal Embassy to interview there. His refugee status was eventually denied though...

Good luck. You might want to check with an immigration attorney too.

I too am very sorry to hear the outcome of this appt for you and Watson. When I saw the post, I was hoping for some glimmer of progress on your journey. My heart goes out to you both.

Sigh...I am so sorry to hear your waivers were denied Mrs P. Then the interview letter and the damage to the home. How much more, right? I am glad to hear you are trying to get help to deal with depression and panick attacks. These are very serious.

I don't have much to offer that will really ease your difficulties and the impact to you and your family, but just know that there are people who care about you and hope for something positive for you soon.
