So i checked on-line, on Aug 12 they put me back in line for schedule interview. Doesn't know how soon I'll get my interview day...

I hear you. That's completely messed up. I've been in the same situation with my AOS. I live 3 hours away. Got there just to be told that all the afternoon appointments were canceled. And that they called me an hour and a half before. Remember - I live three hours away. How was I supposed to receive that call in time to cancel the trip? No idea.

I just hoping they will fix it soon~

I got my interview letter for N400 & they scheduled me to go to the pittsburgh 2day at 8am. So i be there with my husband on 7:45 and waiting. And after almost 2 hrs of waiting, they finally called my name. The lady apologized for the waiting & told me that they had a lots of case scheduled 2day from main office isn't on the computer system, she doesn't know what is happening & she need to contact main office & reschedule. Then she send me home and said they will contact me asap. So we just drove 2hrs up + waiting 2hrs + 2hrs back for nothing.

I guess now is 2 late(can't go to walk in without the paper) ... Hope that the letter will come soon~ (cross my finger)

It's been almost a month since i sent it back. So i called them 2day and they said they doesn't hv timeline for rescheduled and they didn't C any update on it yet. All i can do is wait... Don't know how long it could be...

I know where Bedford is I like small towns. I have lived here most of my life, and I'm more of a small town person, then a big city girl. How do you like Bedford ?

I just found out from bloomsburg to state college is around 1 1/2 hr & is around the same for me 2... So do U drive may be we can meet sometime... Is really nice to meet some new friend... Tried to sent U a message to yr mail box it doesn't work...

I just hv a argument with my husband... He can go to his friend or his brother to talk about it. Me just at the house~ coz i don't hv anyone to go to and talk about it, i can't just go to my parents house and talk about it coz they are so far away. Don't hv friends i can cry about it either. I feel so alone right now... Miss home so much...

Why did you not just do a walk in? Why delay the process?

We did walk-in biometrics on roc and naturalization within days of getting the bio appointment for each step.

I'm not sure i could walk-in or not and i'm way to far to go there if they doesn't let me(2hrs drive). So i just sent that back~

Don't worry about it. You will receive a new notice within few days. A friend of mine returned her notice AFTER she missed the biometrics appointment and USCIS sent her a new one within 1 week. However, I don't know if "work schedule" is a good excuse, there it might not be the best "first impression". My friend missed it due to an illness.

I got my Bio. Appt. paper on Apr 21 & they schedule on May 12, due to my work schedule i couldn't be there that day. So i sent it back by using delivery confirmation & they received it on Apr 27.

Do anyone know how long it take for them to reschedule me? Will they think i miss my appt. if i doesn't received my new appt. before May 12?

It's been 60 days they updated my states on-line, so i called the hotline today N the guy just said is normal N tell me to wait for 30 more days to call back if i didn't C any update on-line... Is it all i can do is wait?

You will wind up waiting until the namecheck is complete or will get mixed in with a batch of adjudications that are pushed through regarless of status of namecheck. To answer your question - this isn't uncommon. Many of us have been waiting and continue to do so.

You should get a status change e-mail when your greencard is approved and production of the card has been ordered. The online service is not 100% accurate however so you might simply get it in the mail one day.

I had my interview on Apr 3, 08 N the lady told me that i need to wait for the name check~ I keep checking my state on-line, they just didn't updated since Mar 18, 08~ Is it normal? How can I know my case is pending or done for name check? Thx!
