    yes,,, finnaly iam here in the u.s now and living with my husband and iam so happy that evrything went well.. except i missed my flight from detriot to atlanta cos of immigration thing but NWA. get me in on the next flight going to atlanta.. everything went well.. in the immigartion,, but that time we had lots of immigrant that time and only one guy is working on it... just waiting for the SSN and Green card on the mail... :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

    :thumbs::dance: my husband was just approved for the visa a day before the actual interview day. I am so happy and would like to thank everyone here on VJ that helped with advice and answering my questions. There are too many to thank. Good luck to those waiting to be reunited with their loved ones. :thumbs:

    :thumbs::dance: my husband was just approved for the visa a day before the actual interview day. I am so happy and would like to thank everyone here on VJ that helped with advice and answering my questions. There are too many to thank.     Hi guyz, I am new here. It's nice to see your posts. I am still waiting for my K1 petition to get approved. My hubby sent it last june 08 and we got the receipt dated 06-18-08. Until now, we don't hear any update from CSC.

    I am glad to hear the success of many couples here. You are giving us hope. :thumbs:

    We didn't get any lawyer to process our papers. We just read the guidelines online. I hope to know some infos about your visa process so that we will know the exact thing to do. :star:

    Good things are worth waiting for. Just can't deny the fact that we really miss our partners.

    i called USEM just earlier, i asked for grace but lorraine answered my call and said grace was attending to another call..sigh.. <_<

    well anyways, she told me my visa is all set and hopefully expect it in a week or so since i live in cebu.

    thanks alot guys.. pls can anyone tell me what is the real meaning of Pink slip?? if they gave u that it means that they will realse the visa soon??? cos we are planning to fly on 17th or 24th this month,, :unsure::unsure::unsure:

    i personally think it's not wise to make travel plans before getting your visa, who knows how long you'll wait to get it.

    hello there... we have same date of interview,, hehehhehehehe.. yeah i called the embassy today and Grace nicely entertain me,, and ask me if the CO tell something or advise me something. i said that she only welcome me in u.s that's all then she look at the file in the computer and she told me that my visa was already done and printed. just waiting to be release maybe this afternoon.. i just hope i can get it soon,, mrs MJ3LASVEGAS. pls keep in toch if u recive your visa.... :thumbs

    I have noticed that you only paid the DV on Sept. 16 and had your interview Oct. 3. NSO usually processeses DV by a month. I strongly suggest that you get in touch with Delbros to verify when they submitted the request to NSO then call the US embassy to further verify if your DV is already with them and if your visa is already for printing or delivery already.

    delbros txt me that they fprward the dv in NSO last sept 25.. and some told me that if i have problem in the DV they will give me a White slip but all they told me is iam set to go just pay the fee for visa and wait for the delivery... i will be calling the embassy tommorow to find out more,,

    thanks guys...iam still worried if the visa will arrive this week,. my hubby really want to book flight but i told him that dnt book yet cos iam still not sure about it.. the peron in window 37 didnt tell me anything but to pay the visa delivery and go home and wait for the visa to be deliverd..GUYS u think i will recived the visa this week.. i got passed oct 3 and its fri.....

    HI OCNGRATULATIONS!!!

    I think the pink sleep is mean that you got approved and that's for visa delivery. If you live in metro manila it will only takes 1 week to get your visa. But if you live in province it will take 2-3 weeks. But it still depend if embassy are done with NSo doc.verification. That's what i read too in other forum.

    Hope this will help you.

    By the way, are they approved your case more than your adjucated timelines or less than your adjucated timelines?

    i guess that i need to call the embassy and ask about it cos my case in a expedite so need it asap.. they didnt tell me anything if i have some problem in document verification they just told me that i can go home and DELBROS will be delivering my visa,... :unsure:

    :thumbs: yes today i passed the interview and the CO was soooooo NICE she only ask me 3 question

    1. why i go home from korea

    2. where is my husband now

    3. what is his job

    then he look at our pics and say i have a very handsome husband and son.. and it soooooo heart breaking to keep my husband and son away for long timeso she told me that well mrs. hooks welcome to the united states..i hope u will have a happy life now. cos you deserve it.. cos i respect the life of an a military wife the toughest job of all.

    all i can say that waiting is much longer than interview,,,

    GUYS QUESTION HOW LONG TILL I CAN RECIVE THE VISA I LIVE IN MANILA AREA.. :thumbs::thumbs:

    tHANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE WARM GUDLUCKS... I HOPE THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE OK, EXCEPT THE DV. I GUESS IT WONT MAKE IT IN TIME... STUPID DELBROS EVEN U PAY EARLIER ITS USELESS

    Actually it was USEM who was the culprit of all these delays! I paid August 08, 2008 faxed it to USEM the same day and called Delbros infairness to Robbie he did asked a request slip from USEM re. our docs information to be included for DV batch (Friday) to NSO. Delbros emailed USEM 2 times to follow up my Docs information no reply from USEM at all. It was my hubby who got pissed and called 2 times to Lorraine & Grace on August 29, 2008 (Friday) that we paid & fax our metrobank deposit slip to them 8/8/08. Lorraine & Grace were in a hurry to fill up the request slip form & forwarded to Delbros for DV. It was only September 01, 2008 finally our Docs Info sent to NSO for DV.

    The USEM people (Lorraine/Grace) when it comes to DV process' I would say they are very inefficient & ineffective in terms of their performance. As I said it wasn't DELBROS CAUSE DELAYS BUT IT WAS USEM, Delbros is just merely a liason agent for receiving from USEM's request and delivers to designated entities such as NSO for DV & VISA to principal applicants/beneficiaries.

    i can say that is true filiricans,, i talked to lorraine last sept23rd and she was sooo in polite that i almost cuss on her, she told me that delbros is the one i need to ask about the dv..she gave me a number and called abby.. then abby transfer me to a guy, that woking for the DV,, he told me that he called loraine to ask my request form and loraine told them embassy is giving out the forms that day,,, i hate when they dnt do thier jobs..i will try to call them again about the progress of my Dv since my Interview is on comming Fri.. :whistle:
