  1. Ya I'm not positive, just what I heard. Hoping someone can chime in.
  2. Ya I saw that too, but I also read from someone else that getting Hep A when you're over the age of 18 is pointless, because the CDC doesn't require or recommend it for immigration unless you are under 18. This link backs that up: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/civil-surgeons/vaccinations.html#tbl1 As far as I've heard, it costs a lot of money to do it that way.
  3. I have the following vaccines: COV-2022 DIP/PERTUSSIS/TETANUS: 1986 Hep B: 2001 MENINGOCOCCAL: 2001 MEASLES/MUMPS/RUBELLA 1982 POLIO 1986 MANTOUX-TB 2001 TET/DIPTH 2017 Which of these need updating? Do I need Hep A, Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), Rotavirus, Pneumococcal disease, and seasonal flu too? According to this site, https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/civil-surgeons/vaccinations.html#tbl1, I don't need any of em except maybe seasonal flu, since I am 40 years old. Can someone verify?
  4. I'm not sure and don't want to say one way or the other. I didn't meet either the income or the asset requirement because all of our assets are in Canada, and they need to be in the US to be approved for assets to make up the income shortfall. So I got her father to joint sponsor and we were only DQed 3 months after I uploaded his documents. If you got an actual email and NVC notification saying you were DQed, then you are. I assume uploading additional documents will require an additional 3 months to review, but I am not certain at all, since you say you are DQed already. The next step after DQ is having an interview scheduled. It's possible you could upload the joint sponsor and get an interview prior to them even looking at it. I really don't know. Maybe someone else can chime in.
  5. I have my fingers crossed that late June gets theirs tomorrow. Hoping for you!
  6. Something that others waiting for their interviews might want to know: I was correct about interviews coming before end of August, but I was wrong about what happens on CEAC. My status still says "At NVC" whereas I thought it would change to transmitted a day or two prior to my interview coming. So checking CEAC after DQ apparently gives no benefit.
  7. Hey, I looked up some 'reviews' for the doctor in Surrey (Cheema) and it seems like the medical takes all of 15 minutes, with just him asking a bunch of questions from the questionnaire. I'm leaning towards them not looking into or otherwise noting your medical records beyond what you give them regarding vaccines, etc, now. Will still ask my doctor and let you know next week.
  8. I'm going to ask my doctor about this next week, and will post what he says.
  9. Ok I got some information about this. All your medical visits are kept on file in a centralized database attached to your health care number. Any GP can access your records through this number. I'm not sure if the panel physician accesses this record during the medical or just asks you questions about your history. But technically if he/she is a GP, they have the ability to access your records, and if it's considered a visit to a GP, they could upload their results through that same database. Here is the CDC guidance to panel physicians for US immigration: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/medical-history-physical-exam.html It does appear they look into your records.
  10. Are you sure you're actually documentarily qualified? If they're requesting a joint sponsor that means you don't meet the income requirements. Same thing happened to me. I was 'accepted' before I did joint sponsor, but I didn't get DQed until I sent them a joint sponsor and all his supporting documents as well.
  11. Pleasant surprise today, interview for October 5th. DQed June 21st
  12. I think every doctor's office has separate records and it's only shareable if you give your consent, as in no 'provincial' record, but I would like to know as well.
  13. Ya, if they don't book interviews by the end of August then I'll be convinced they are delayed.
  14. Yep! It's only been a month today that last interview letters went out (for May), so I expect June will be very soon! Hoping as well for the next week!
  15. Ya, why do you think they have slowed down? Interviews are all sent out on one day during a month, May interviews were scheduled on July 25th, and August isn't over yet. Some people here were suggesting that August interview letters have already been sent out, but I see no evidence for that. I was DQed in June, so I am still expecting my interview letter sometime this month. According to the spreadsheet kellykms and Luna were DQed near the end of may, 20th and 21st respectively. I don't know for sure, but I expect all us June DQs will get our interview letters before August 31st.
  16. Those in the spreadsheet DQed in May were issued September interviews on July 25th.
  17. AFAIK September interviews were issued as of August 8th for those DQed in May. I still think June interview letters are coming before the end of August.
  18. How long is the police record good for? Mine was uploaded a year ago and my interview letter is soon to be here. Do I need to get a new one?
  19. So my wife has been a permanent resident for 18 months but prior to that she was basically living here on Visitor Records and extensions since October of 2016. Does she qualify to become a citizen now or do you need to live here for 3 years AS a permanent resident?
  20. I believe it gets 'transmitted' to the consulate a day or two before your interview letter, so that could be something to keep an eye on. People are saying September interviews are already booked but I still have my fingers crossed. I feel like I'm in purgatory.
  21. Does everyone DQ'd in June still show "At NVC" on the CEAC site? Does this change shortly before getting an interview letter?
  22. Will there sometimes be multiple months scheduled for the same month (like DQs in May and June in September), or is it usually May-->September, June-->October, etc?
  23. Is it true that monthly interviews are all sent out on one day during a month?
  24. Waiting anxiously here as well. I expect we will all be getting interview letters in the next week. I'm not 100%, but pretty sure the consulate sends out all interviews for the next month on one day. So all interview letters for september interviews will go out sometime in August. I suspect it will be the 3rd/4th week, so within the next 10 days. At least I hope so.
