    hi guys,

    just posting to see if anyone recently got a 221 g out of chennai? my husband was not asked for any additoinal info, but CO said she needs to review our case additonally for . ANd i was present with him during the interivew tooo...

    up till now we received or heard nothing..

    if anyone could share their experinces? it would be great!

    oh by the way , she said she it would take 4-6 weeks.. nothing yet

    any advise?

    Ya I got 221g blue for k3 it took 8weeks to clear

    hey guys now that i am back home in US i would like to take this time to review how the interview went , in chennai.. since i was there with my husband

    it was on july 28th at 8am

    we stayed at crystal residency in chennai

    it was ok excpet for the fact when the lights went out at night and it was HOT!!

    but anyways we got to the counsulate line at 745am

    they make you stand outside

    then when we got to the counter and my husband showed his appt letter and passport

    i did the same, they gave me a hard time to let me in.. then finally let me in with him

    as soon as we entered my husband got called to the window so we walked to the window

    the indian officer looked thru our file

    asked to see our album, she said she liked it

    asked if it was love marriage

    asked if i filed my tax returns

    she made my husband sign part 2 of ds230

    asked me how long i am visiting for then asked us to sit down

    we sat back down at 810am

    then at 12 we were called up by the american officer

    the first question we were asked was "when did you get here"

    i said july 24th, i took 2 weeks off from work.. she said oh you must be jet lagged

    then went thru our file

    she asked my husband how did we meet

    we told her we have some phone cards emails and albums shes like no i dont need to see anything i trust u

    she took my husbands finger prints

    then she said ok i am confident u wilget ur visa but i need additional time to review your case of 4-6 weeks and gave us a b lue paper 221 g

    she said oh im sure ur friends missed ur wedding, i saidya we have a reception planned, she said oh good! u can eat lots of cake... and smiled

    she was nice and we thought we had it

    but oh well gues more waiting for me....

    oh she did look at some of our pics which we submited thru vfs... those were already in her file....

    we got our originals back

    so right now we r in AP

    Did she keep his passport? what is this AP for? job or marriage? mine was for job background

    Hello friends

    they not abel to find my approval copy of I-130. nvc yelling they dont have record in there pc. and uscis sent us copy of approval (i-797) of i-130.I have copy of approval which USCIS sent me. ANY ONE HAVE USCIS EMAIL ID SO I CAN EMAIL USCIS and can check where is my case . it all most 5 month we are wating for our process.

    send ur 130 by regular (speed) mail and get certified so u will know when they get it

    Hi everybody I am in US after 14 months of this journey I had no problem at POE( Atlanta ) except rain and delay on connecting flight. Big relief finaly I am home with my hubby thanks everybody on this journey :star:

    hi manasa,

    I have a question for you... i emailed chennai yesterday evening and today morning i checked my email, and no response..

    is there a specific way i should write the email? did you follow a certaind standard, what should i say? please let me know..

    U have to write ur 129 mdr # and ask for the status. in my case they said 3-4 weeks so I started writing after the 4th week it takes 2-3 days sometimes to get the reply

    NVC loost 130 approvel copy

    hello friends

    i called NVC they said they dont have my approval copy. there system not showing. and asked me to email of my approval copy. i sent attechment of my I-797 to NVC. i woory weather they got my email or not because i not got autoresponse.

    wt can i do now . it all most 5 month and i not recived any information from NVC.

    pls advise

    Ya call them to find out. if they didn't get it ask for fax# and fax it. too bad they r doing this no human value at all :angry:

    i think i am in the same situation as u

    going administrative processing

    i hope within 8 weeks this will be over for me tooo

    I hope he gets it soon he can call the embassy and check on it after the 6th week. what kind of job is he doing? my AP is for my microbio job thank god its over :star:

    It was not easy it took one yr to get the interview then this AP so 14 mnths since marriage :wacko: finaly visa arrived yesterday. they kept my passport after the interview and said 3-4 weeks to clear. Its because of my microbio job. hope ur husband gets it soon.

    i wan ask that aster interview when they gave u blue slipdid they keept u passport. or u submited u r passport later. when u submited u passport in embassy.

    in my AP he embassy told first time 10 days then 3 to 4 week and now they told 2 to 3 month. dont know wt going on . i called DOS they told casy still inembassy and they doing document varification. lol

    they kept my passport after the interview and said it will take 3-4 weeks but it took 8 weeks. after the 4th week they were saying in a week then 10 days , 5days etc. I kept on praying, emailing the embassy every week to check. DOS is no good, no good answer 2 months , 3months 4 months ,6 months etc

    Embassy operator mentioned document varification when I called to get status of visa. She said 1-2 weeks (10 days ago they said 1 week to 10 days). Now I know things dont move fast in India (and neither does US government) but can anybody say how long it took to varify documents in India (any body who has been through AP for document varification or has knowlege of timeframe).

    well when I calld chennai they said 10 days last time then 5 days now don't know case is still in US (DOS) once it comes to India doesn't take much time counsular said at the interview 3-4 weeks now over 5 weeks. when my husband calld DOS they said its still in US pending can't say the time frame depending on the number of people before you it can take months :wacko:

    well when i called delhi first time on 25th they said it will take 10 days and when i called on 27th he told it can take betweem 4 to 6 weeks . he also told it is document varification. but when my wife called DOS they said my papers are still in india and last update is 22 july.she also told it can take cuple of months. pls suggest wt to do.

    So far no news. its still pending at DOS. when my husband calld they said its too early to find out even though its 8weeks. u can't even ask for enquiry before 90 days

    i got 221g( Administrative Processing) . i called DOS they said my case in under name check.

    . is it mean they rejected my case and sent back?

    and when i can appply for hardship waver.

    pls any one from india can tell

    wt is this security name check and how much it can take for security name check. my naem is Rajesh singh. i dont think it is any bad name loll

    hi laurarajesh I am still waiting for the security clearence its 8 weeks now no news contacted DOS no use its just like calling Usics :wacko:
