First thing Monday morning, you need to call NVC to straighten out the name and the payment.
Paying IV at this point could be a little risky.
Good luck.
Thank you Ling Ling for your suggestion. Calling NVC will be my first thing to do on Monday and I hope I can get through the busy phone lines which usually the case on Mondays.
Peace.

Hi there,
If NVC had my husband name in wrong place, middle name as first name, do I have to wait to talk to an operator to change it before paying IV fee?
I've already paid AOS fee and received an automated response email said that THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT NAME NOT FOUND (husband is principal applicant.) Would NVC apply AOS fee into my case?
Thank you.

It seems to me that all of my stress about my wife's upcoming interview is about faith -the lack of faith in the system.
For example, when I drive my car down the road, I have faith that people on the other side of the white line will not suddenly swerve into my lane and initiate an accident. And when I need help, I will call the police and I have faith that he or she will not shoot me when coming to my assistance...
Well, in trying to unite with my spouse, one should have the faith that the system will work. If all the proper legal steps have been taken, the process will deliver a visa, etc., so that people can be united.
The reality is that I have no faith in the interview process in HCMC.
This isn't right. The legal process shouldn't be just potluck.
"Well, tell me, Punk, do you feel lucky today? --Well, do you?!"
Hi 2x2y2z,
Would you please tell me how to send complaint letter to the Immigration Director? I filed I-130 on October 16, 2007 but haven't received the NOA1. Although my money order was cashed in January, 2008, USCIS couldn't find my case in their computer system when I called in April 2008. They couldn't check my case with the receipt number provided on the cashed money order. Then they sent me a letter with a request of copy of cashed money order or copy of my original application. I sent right back, however, I didn't hear anything as well. It's been 3 month since I sent those back to Vermont. Do you or anyone have any advice? Should I send a new application with a copy of cashed money order?

If I want to get a photocopy of my Money Order with the receipt number, I have to fill out a form and send it... It may take couple of days... So I think I'll just wait for the NOA1. I just wonder why my petition is not in the USCIS system although they cashed my Money Order.
Did you send your file with a check? Why don't you check with your bank to get your receipt number? ...Oh, may be your check hasn't been cashed.

I sent my i-130 to the Vermont Service Center which they received on 10/22/07...i still have not received anything yet. I have read some thread that sent their i-130 after my date and already go their NOA1s. I am feeling so frustrated right now. I am going to give them by the end of Jan. before I sent out another form. Who is with me????
Hi Jqay80,
We are in the same boat. I sent my I-130 to VSC on 10/16/07, but I haven't got NOA1 yet. I called the USCIS few days ago, and they told me that my petition was not in their system (even after 90 days; was told to wait for another month). Then, I called WesternUnion and found out thay they cashed my MoneyOrder on 1/15/07. I was glad to hear that but still... worrying about my NOA1

Hi all,
I would like to have your advises on my case. On October 16, 2007, I filed and sent form I-130 to USCIS in Vermont. It has been more than 3 months and I have not received anything from USCIS. I sent the file with a money order and regular mail; therefore, I didn't know if they received my file
Anyway, I filed this application for my husband whom I got married in August 2007. Now I am 5 months pregnant and I really want my husband to be here, in the US, when my baby is born. Do you think I should write a letter with proof of my pregnancy to USCIS, so the petition would be approved sooner?
I would really appreciate for your opinion.

Hi VJmembers,
Can you please show me how to print out the conversations from Message Archive in Yahoo? I've tried to print them but only one 1st page came out for any one conversation although some conversation could be 3 pages long.
My husband's interview will be @ 9am on December 1, 2008 in Ho Chi Minh City. Any of your spouses has the same interview date?
I am trying to gather all the supportive evidences possible. However, any of your experiences are welcome. Please give me any useful advises.
Thanks.
Leena.
