  1. Some questions for Moroccan people please

Ok it is the time to gather my documents for DS-230 for (CR1) to the NVC.

    1. Do you need to send the original of marriage certificate?? Or just notary a copy of it?

    2. The second question is about the translation documents, do I need to certify them at the Minister foreign too, or just certified translator is enough.

    3. And the last question is about the original birth certificate, do I need the one that called in Arabic ( Noskha kamila = full version) or just a normal one?

and if there is more edvices i will be so thankful

I wish I can have some helps please and thank you before hands

    Great weekend to everyone

All of your documents for the DS-230 must be originals, must have the little postage stamp certification. The translations can be done by a translator certified by the courts; they are easily accepted by the consulate. The birth certificate must be a full version. The police report must be current.

PS - they ask for the bio page of your passport, but that page doesn't show the passport expiration date, which is what they need. Send the page with the expiration date, too, or they will RFE for it and take more time.

Thank you so much, i have another question, do i need to gather the docments again for the consulate even if i sent all the documents to the NVC?

  2. Im not to that point yet but i believe others have said marriage has to be an original i remeber talking to them about it because i wasnt wanting to send my only copy either

i think i have the answer now, we just need to obtain a copy of marriage certificate by applying to the Cadi Court.

Moroccan Moslems may obtain a copy of their marriage certificate by applying to the Cadi Court (Koranic Court) that presided over their marriage.

i found that in that link, you can check it:

  4. Good point Credzba! I forgot about that the NOA1. It took a month to get my daughter case number and two months for my wife. If you use a personal check of friend my sure he can get a copy of the check or like my bank it is online. So they allow to view the check back and front. I got the case numbers off the back of the checks.

Does your Visa Card owner mail you those Visa Checks? You may try to use those.

Be aware when you get to the IV fee step where they send the US person the fee bill it is $70 (for one or more applicant) for I-864 form, and the Applicant a bar code and fee bill for $380 (unlike the US end - it is per applicant and can't be grouped together), that only accept a cashier check or money order. I messed up and sent a personal check. Got excited took the fee bill to the post office with my check and mailed it out as soon as I got it. They mailed the check back and my wife's bar code, but not my daughter's. So I had to call several times, and hat to wait an extra month to get that fixed.

I don't why the difference at this step, but that the way it is right at this moment. I have been reading news saying they are in the process of updating to accept online accplications and credit cards, but that will probably take a year or two.

Dont forget the check or money order must be from a U.S. bank for the visa bill, and it is now $400.

    400??? i think the i-130 from fee is 355.

  6. i want to file the I-130 , so do i need to make 3 copies of that form, and sign three of them? or just sign one of i-130 and make 3 copies of it for my records.

Why make 3 copies? I don't get it? We only send 1 I-130 Form per applicant.

After you finished filling it out, I strongly suggest you to make copies of what your about to send.. For record purposes..

yes we are sending just 1 i-130 , i am just asking if i need to sign just 1 and make some copies or my records

  7. can somone help and give us more information about the DS-3032 choice of agent, we will not pick an agent, we need just to know which address should we use, US address or in my counrty address? and also when should we pay ($335.00) for the Form DS-230? at the NVC process time, or during the consulate interview?

    and thanks

someone has to be the agent: the USC, the sponsored person, or someone else. it doesn't really matter who, but someone has to be the person that receives the correspondence from the consulate.

Nothing else will be processed until you pay the IV bill-send it to the address on the form

thanks but what is the IV bill?
