  2. hello everybody! I have tried to put off to ask this question. I think its time for me to know when do i need to apply for citizenship. I lost my husband last year with cancer. Before he died we called the USCIS 1-800 number to asked if I could still apply for citizenship since he would not be around on that time. Of course, knowing USCIS we have two conflicting statements from different representative we talked. One says that I would not have a problem to get a citizenship since our marriage is true. Then my husbands next question was when i can apply for citizenship, then the lady rep said that 3 yrs after the GC was issued ( which gonna be 2009). Then the other representative we talked said that i can apply for citizenship after 5 yrs.( from the GC issue date) if my husband dies before our 3 yr. anniversary. Which he died last year, we had not had a chance to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday.

Now im confused on what year im going to apply for citizenship. I would like to apply as soon as I can, as I have a 2 yr. old & I would like to petition my mom so I have help taking care with my daughter while im working. Its hard to raise a child by yourself & dont have any single family near you.

Can somebody please give some advise or anybody has some information about this situation. I would appreciate any advises or comments I receive.

    Thank you all!

  4. hi all! i will have my fingerprinting/ biometrics done this feb 22 in atlanta, ga. i received my appt. letter; the address that where im suppose to go is in collier rd ( my guess, this is the old address of the uscis office). then last night i read somewhere that effective feb 21, 2008 that the atlanta uscis will be on their new office which is the parkway rd (something like that). does anybody knows which is the correct address? is their any number i could call? bcoz they did not put any contacct number on my appointment letter.

    thanks for any help!

  6. Hi yu & dan. pls. clarify for me. Its been a long time i have not done or do some reading here in vj. as far as i know i need to file a removing conditions, my green card will expire next month. they approve my gc feb 2006. i am not qualified ( till 2009)yet to get a naturalization since the counting of 3 yrs. is froom the time they approve your gc. unless im worng with this. if someone could verify this. i would appreciate it.

    thanks!

  7. hi all! i have few questions regarding applying for removing conditions.

    1. Do i need to submit photo's of me & my husband? as an evidence of relationship?

    2. I read before that submitting the application, it should not be stapled or use paper clip the documents. is this true? so what kind of stuff do i need to use to keep my documents in order?

    3. Do i need to make a cover letter?

    Thanks for any help!!

  8. i know this may sound stupid! but im confused, can anyone clarify this to me? so after i file for my PR removal of condition & if they will approve it.

1.they will give me a 10 yr. PR? is this right?

2.do i have to wait for 10 yrs before i can apply for citizenship?

and also, me & my husband dont have names together on our properties and bank account ( he was divorced before so he does not want his ex get some of our stuff that we put up together).

    3. will i have trouble filing for my I751?

and last question; i know i read somewhere last yr. re; applying for I751 without a spouse. can someone help me find the link pls.
