You need to ask the consulate... they are the ones with the answer...

Yes we have the visa in hand now.I am going to talk to her today about leaving the baby over there with her family for a couple of months so we do not have to go through all this stuff again.The embassy will not extend the visa i talked to them last night.Thanks everybody for the help.

Thanks everyone,My wife to be told me the visa expires in june.I have not seen it so i am hoping she read it wrong.It is good to have friends out there who understand what it is like going through all of this.Good look to all of you. edp333 it has been awhile. my computer crashed and with every thing going on i did not spend the money to get a new one.How did your interview go? i hope you got good news.

Maybe someone out there can help us out.We have been waiting for months to get the visa.Here is were the trouble starts.She is now 8 months pregnant which would have been no trouble but she had to have the sputum test done.Thank god very thing was ok.She can not fly now and the baby is going to be here the last week of May.The visa expires in June. We have been told it will take up to 2 months to get the babies passport.This is driving us crazy.Will they extend the visa for us or are we going to have to start all over?It was a great feeling for her to get the visa but now we are worried again.

She finally got packet 4 today.Doing early medical next week.

by the way i had my 1st day of early medical today..

it went fine and smooth sailing...

my advice, just go to SLEC really early to avoid the crowd...

Hi Honeybear,it will be nice to see you there.She is getting worried now because she is 3 months pregnant.Now i am worried about her medical i am praying that everything will go ok.She was going to do her medical next week but now she will go there on the 15.She is from Cebu and her sister will fly to manila with her so that she will not be alone there.I am taking the whole month of Feb. off to be with her.I will arrive in manila on the 3rd,if everything works out we with fly back to the U.S. on the 14TH.I hope we both get approved.

i am happy for you and your wife to be .it would be nice if we could get them here next month but that is a long shot.i am just hoping that the NVC sends it to manila before the holidays.I will tell Babylyn that we are not alone in our journey.it is very hard to be apart right now with her being pregnant.Keep in touch so we will now how our cases are doing.

Mine was approved on 10/25/07. Called the NVC today they still do not have it. So much for a good new years party.I guess all of our papers are sitting in a crate.The people who handle things like this should understand that this is our lives here not just a piece of paper.just throw it in a crate and forget about it.If it is the shipping costs that is causing this delay then they should just ask us how we want it shipped.I know i would pay for that myself if they would let me.I am sure most of you would do the same.Been almost four weeks since i got the good news and now the waiting starts all over.This is really pissing me off because there are a lot for people who have been sent to the embassy with the same date as mine.I am happy for them.For those of you that have been sent to the embassy already my best wishes to you.May you and your spouse be very happy together. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY

I hope NVC is gathering all "USEM" petitons so that we will be one batch when the US Consulate in Manila starts to schedule interviews. Yeah I got my NVC notice on Nov 10, hard copy and I haven't had much luck either.

THE NVC GAVE ME MY CASE NUMBER TODAY.THIS IS A GREAT FEELING TO KNOW THAT MY JOURNEY IS ALMOST OVER AND THE TWO US US CAN START OUR LIVES TOGETHER. :dance: WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR OVER A YEAR NOW.SHE IS TWO MONTHS PREGNANT AND I AM GLAD SHE WILL BE HERE TO SEE THE DOCTORS OVER HERE SOON.I AM HOPING SHE WILL BE HERE IN JAN. my company told me that she needs at least three months on the insurance so that they will cover the cost of all of it.After that it goes down on how much the will pay.

Got approved for I29f on 10-25-07. Call the NVC every two days.they said they still do not have it. it seems that a lot of other people are having better luck than i am.does anybody have a clue as to what the hold up is? good luck to everybody

they received mine on June 18 got approved on oct. 25 waiting on the nvc now. The waiting starts again.
