  1. Hi guys,

This is to let everyone know that with your advices, proper and sufficient documentations, let me say good timing and above all PRAYERS, my I-751 application with waiver (divorced) was approved - 10 year GC, (just received the card today).

The best gift ever this year and it is indeed a great blessing from above. Prayer works!!!

Here is my timeline: I can't remember specific dates, this is just to give you basic info

October 2008 - mailed I-751 with waiver to CSC

November 2008 - Got my Extension Letter and Biometrics

Dec 2008 - Jan 2009 - NO activity, NO RFE, NO interview notice (They say no news is good news)

Feb 4, 2009 - CRIS email received; card production ordered (Hallelujah!!!!) Honestly I almost hugged and kissed all the people even my dog in the house when I got that e-mail

Feb 11, 2009 - Card received ( All the card info correct) What a relief!!!!

Long story short about my divorced, my ex-spouse cheated on me, showed her true color (doesn't want to work, lazy in doing household, spending all our money in all her vices while I worked my butt off to be a good provider)

I am still feeling sad about what happened to my married life but I need to move on with my life here, got great support from family and friends. Yes I am lucky to be approved considering my situation but believe me prayers can move mountains!!!

Good luck to all of you waiting for approval and especially those filing with waiver!

    Hi zozo,

    Any update about your application?

  4. I already bought a round trip to Phils. for my vacation this Sept.

I know I asked this again before but got no answer.

I have with me right now a conditional greencard expiring next year (2009)

Marriage failed and just received the divorce decree.

I am still seeking an immigration lawyer to help me file the removal of conditions with waiver.

My worries is if their will be any problem when I returned in th US. I am already divorced, with a conditional greencard expiring 2009 and still preparing to file the removal of conditions.

Is it better to file the removal of conditions with waiver (divorce decree already on hand) before my trip to Phils or after my trip?

    PLSSSS I NEED YOUR ADVICE!!!!!

    Thanks in advance!

  5. I appreciate the response. With my situation as I stated on my original post, when I filed the removal of conditions with waiver even though my CGC expires 8/2009, will they still give me extension letter like everyone got?

I am thinking to be safe in getting back here in the US w/o problem, having the extension letter plus my CGC expiring 8/2009 will be best, isn't it?

If I file the removal of conditions this June, will I'll be able to receive the extension before Sept of this year?

Your reply is very much appreciated and thank you very much for the help!!

  6. Hi guys,

Here's the situation; Got conditional GC expiring 8/2009. Marriage failed, divorce filed, waiting for the decree. Planning to remove conditions on waiver when the decree becomes available maybe a month or two from now.

After an awful divorce I am dying to go home to visit family this Sept and already bought a round trip ticket.

My question; Given I filed removal of conditions with waiver this June or July and go home for a family visit this Sept, is there any problem going back in the US? I am worried immigration might question my CGC while removal of conditions on process?

Please I need your help and advice. Thanks a lot!

  7. Just asking if anyone can give me advice here;

Married to a USC wife over a year now, AOS interview approved, received conditional GC last Sept this year and my card expires on 2009.

Wife unfaithful, confessed having an affair with another guy, marriage is no longer working....

Divorce is on its way.. Am I still legal to stay and work here after divorce?

If yes, can I just keep the divorce decree and file a petition with waiver when my card expires on 2009?

or file a petition with waiver after I received the divorce decree?

I heard different advices, so please somebody tell what is the best thing to do.

    Thanks!
