Was hoping if someone had any advice. this is from USEM

Got a verbal approval for b2 visa. Then 7 days later got passport returned with 221 g letter simply asking to send a 2x2 photo (none was taken during interview)

My question is do I return the passport as well as the 221g and photo? Logically I would think I need to otherwise how can the visa be issued? However the  only box checked on the 221g is "other" Please provide 2x2 photo.

Any experience of advice is of help.

Also any idea how long it will take to get done since this was an approved emergency appointment for urgent upcoming travel in the coming weeks

I got an email from the local field office with a request to schedule an email.

I responded within a few hours with some dates but its been 2 days and I have not heard back.

How long does it normally take for the field office person (real emails) to get back once I emailed them?

 For an N600k-Adoption have a few quesitons, sorry for the dual posts, not sure whats best to post?

Question  #1. When did Physical custody begin? The child is a step child before being adopted so lived many years before together, what do I put?

Question 2. Where do I upload documents of the adoption Decree’s? I don’t see anywhere to upload that?

Question 3. Do I need to upload any evidence of the adoption or child living together? If so where to upload it?

Question #4.  Do I need to show the old birth certificate or just the new one?

Applying for n600-k online after adopting and living abroad and have a few questions hopefully someone can help who has experience.
