  1. Hello everyone,

l am new member but i am the member of one website that helping about visa too. Nice to meet you all.

Now my case be approved and got case number from nvc already but after November29,2007 my fiance got email from uscis that my case be approved that mean it's noa2 by mail but till now we didn't get noa2 (hard copy) from uscis yet. My fiance called them before one month they said when till one month call back then he did but they said after 15 days call back again he also did but they said again call back when 2 months passed so the end of this month will be 2 months. l don't know what to do.

The problem are how can we do? keep calling?

And also now my fiance don't understand why i worried too much about noa2 i told him i have to use for my status adjustment when i be there but he think we will use different form that is true but this noa2 is one of paper that need..right? l want to prove to him that why i post..hehe.

Thanks for reading my post and thanks in advance for reply on this forum and i will show him.. ^-^

Yes, as far as I know, the 797 paper of NOA2 will be needed again when you get U.S. to change the ID, but I don't know if there is any other form can replace that, and try to collect all the emails from USCIS and NVC to prove you did once get the aprroval already. Good luck.

  2. The feeling crazy part is totally normal...despite how crazy that sounds!

I go crazy for a good week after I see Nick...then it just turns to everyday aching for him.

Then I think of the future and realize in the long run..this time is just a drop in the bucket.

You will be together, you'll be with him, sharing each day and all of this will be beyond worth it. Just think of how it feels to be beside him and be thankful each day he is in your life...no matter how near or far he is.

I wish you both the best.

Dear, that's sad, we all understand that. u know the way i take to avoid the pain is,i try not to see him, its so diffult to see his leaving at the airport...god, pls move the process faster.....

  3. OK, I know there is no rhyme or reason to much of what happens, and please forgive me for whining, but what´s up with the California Service Center right now? There were well over 100 NOA2s in both November and December, but so far only 29 for January! Right when my date is getting close, they all but stop processing. Is there a reason for this? Maybe my question is rhetorical, but I feel the need to vent and want to know if anyone has any insight. I´m in Peru with my fiancee right now and we are realizing that we are not going to be together again for much longer than we had anticipated, even with the additional 2 month cushion I had added on in my head for possible delays. It´s devastating. :(

Hi, understand your frustration, that's true, the process is going very slow now, especially in CSC, we could tell from the timeline statistics, the average time to NOA2 is around 180 days in CSC than in VSC 121 days.that's almost 2months. the updating in CSC is very slow, no any movement, that totally sucks...

  4. haha. i was always complaing and saying "what, do they only have 1 person working in the entire office? seriously... "

I guess that's right, there is only one peson who is working...they r moving just sososo slow...instead, they have thousands of people who handling the tax...we can't see any improvement about their job...it gets slower and slower, the average days between filing and NOA2 gets to 178 today, i want to cry...:(:crying:

  5. My god, I couldn't believe my eyes, the processing times , I saw it last month, the average days for petition filing to NOA2 is 145, today it becomes to 175!!!, and then I saw the immigration timelines, CSC seems already stopped working, there was no any moving, the NOA2 handling stopped at July's NOA1, instead VSC has already forwarded to Sep....God, I don't know what CSC is doing...I want to scream:( :crying: I have been trying to stay patiently for 5 months, its just so suffering...

  6. Hello,

We know your pain :( . We filed on the 27th July 2007, and recieved our NOA1 on 1 August 2007. We are yet to have our case even touched. How do I call to see how our application is going? What is the number if you are outside the USA?

    Rachael

    Hi girl, try this one:

    1-800-375-5283, 1,2,2,4,2,1,CASE NUMBER XXX,1,1

basically the application person as the citizen there could get better answer from them as the experience..good luck,~~

  7. I'm trying my best to pitch a fit, but i'm not sure exactly who to do it for. I wasn't able to get in touch with anyone directly at CSC and I have written to my congressperson today. Hopefully they can help me out. Is there a direct # for the CSC. I haven't even gotten an RFE, just no response at all

Well it seems like the USCIS call is using a robot to answer our phones because they only know some certain words such as"sorry we can't give u answer until u get 90-120 days"(90-120days? how easy they think it is),or "every case is defferent"....

From the timelines, we do see most of the guys of P1 in July have been approved, so I think some actions need to be acted out, good luck, just try everything, this is really important deal.Good luck!!

  8. Thanks everyone, for your advice and support.

It's been an interesting week. My fiance did make some calls, and it turns out, our application was very likely lost. Of course, they don't actually say "lost", they tell him that they have been "experiencing some glitches" with the transfer of the system. Apparently they're now working with an outside service provider to help reduce the backlog, and as we know, have 'streamlined' the service centres that are now dealing with the K-1 visa. Since we sent our application to the Texas centre back in May, and now our area is the Vermont centre, I'm thinking that our application might be somewhere around Nebraska?

Anyhow, the supervisor that he spoke to will be sending him a letter acknowledging this 'glitch', and for the system to indicate that it's ok if we have two applications in process at once - just in case they find the old application. No word yet on whether she can expedite the process now that we've been waiting six months (on their error). Nor anything on whether we will be grandfathered in under the old fee, or if we'll have to pay the difference, or just cancel the old cheque and pay the new fee.

Once again, lots of hurry up and wait! Oh well, at least contact has been made.

Just glitches for explaination for 5 months suffering wait? its really not responsible to say this by taking our huge tax every year!!! The hardness for the visa is insane...:(:(

  9. here is the reason for K visas hitting the backside. thsi article says 2.5 million petitions were filed by immigrants for immigrant benefits to beat the fee increase. Everything from International adoptions to naturalization and other benefits. all these get priority over family based visas.

its so backed up they they are sayign its a year wait for them now.

wonder how long the family based visas will take.

    immigration backlog article

    Chris

Sucks, the process is so damn slow, feel dieing to wait. ...

  10. Two months ago I sent my K1 visa application to the CSC.

Last week it was returned with a letter stating that the application needs to be filed at the nearest embassy/consulate because I currently live abroad. As far as I can tell that is a lie. What on earth should I do next?

I think I'm going to have to hire a lawyer to look over my application. I can't find anything wrong with it ...

So you want to proceed K1, your U.S. citizen, but you are in abroad, right? I see some people in other website they proceeding from same situation as you, it should be fine. Sorry for I couldn't explain in detail, if your fiancee is Chinese, let her go to this website to get more informations in Chinese, it has a lot of informations about how to apply. Good luck.

  11. Ok got a question for you members that have gone thru this K1 process . My Fiance was living in Ho Chi Minh City she was a student when we met she was attending a university for english. I put her address on the I 129 as her living in Ho Chi Minh City in a rent house because we were not sure if she was going to School again this year or go back home to her household were she has lived and says she lives on paper. She decided to go back home so now packet 3 is being sent to her rent home. She has some students from her class still living there that are going to look for the packet. Do you Members see any red flags about this . Thanks Eric and An

Hi, guys, just for your reference, as what I know from the other friends, the only contact information they will use is the address you put in the I129 form for item 16, you wrote in ur girlfriend's lauguage. The other address is just a reference.Good luck!

So as long as the address you put in the I129F in ur girlfriend's lauguage can get the package, and the person can get your package can forward to you guys on time, it should be ok then:)

  13. Howdy Ya'll,

I found this website and looks like a great one with lots of information. I followed the directions for filling out the K1 (i-129f) and I sent it in today. I live in Los Angeles area, and the service center is only a few cities away, so UPS said it would get there tomorrow (tracking and signature required). A few questions ... that i should have asked before sending it ... ;)

Did I sent to the right place?

United States Department of Homeland Security

    U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

    California Service Center

    24000 Avila Road

    2nd Floor, Room 2312

    Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

The actual package (someone please double check below and assure me i wont be getting RFE'd)

I sent it in a plastic zipped folder, then inside a thicker yellow envelope. All the forms that needed to be grouped (g325a, etc) were paperclipped together. On the outside of the envelope I wrote "I-129f Original Submission"

on the inside i included ...

Cover Letter (using template from this site)

    Cashier's check - $455

I-129F (i left A# area blank, was that ok?)

my G325a, 4 pages, plus my photo, signed

her G325a, 4 pages, plus her photo, signed

Birth certificate, long form (?) it was my original BC ... (i mean pc of original)

Letters of intent to marry from me and her

Proof of having met, 2 photos, pc of airline tickets, pc or museum tickets, pc of passport stamps, apt receipt

Proof of ongoing relationship, phone records, email records (screen capped outlook's folder list .... 2 pages outgoing, 2 pages incoming)

SOOOO .... does everything look OK ? or did i screw up somewhere? so paranoid here ... i hate filling out gov't forms.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Mark B.

Hi, the process is kind of slow for the visa, but, well, we have to wait. The address is correct, it should be the same one on the instruction of I129F right? and for the I129F A#, if you were born in U.S. ,the N/A or None is the correct answer, and if you immgrant there years ago, there should be an A# filled in. I don't know if its a big deal. It should be ok, looked at the list you provided, it looks very professional. Good luck.

  14. my fiance and i sent the I-129F oct 2 and up now, my fiance havent gotten a NOA1 by the mail...is any one here who applied on the same date or after?

    were worried about it....

why its taking too long????? :o

Hi, as long as I know, some people sent I129 F on Aug., they got the NOA1 for received the petition from CSC after 1 month and a half, so basically right now they are handling this very slow, the average only for NOA1 is around 40 days. Hopefully they can speed up some day! Good luck.

  15. my K1 was approved 3 weeks ago, after a very long wait. NVC has no info yet. first of all CSC takes too long to process it. it is absurd that they take too long to send it to NVC !!! how long does it take for NVC to get these papers ? i am talking about CSC here. i know they on that "slow path" ? what are my options ?

    thanks,

    sam

Ya, we all know we are meeting the damn big jam, the processing is so slow now. just hopefully the USCIS is resolving it not just let it be. The waiting is totally suffering.

    Good luck...
