  1. And this is what I say "Hog Wash!!!

  2. And this is what the Senator's office said. After reviewing your concerns the US Department of State provided the enclosed response to my inquiry. i hope you find this information useful. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to assist in this matter. It is a privilege to represent you in this matter. Thank you again for taking the time to contact me.!

  3. Senators and congressman have no power. This is what Lagos sent my Congressman John Cornyn's office."Thank You for your inquiry. Please note that your constituent is working with numerous congressional offices. This case is undergoing administrative processing and we will contact the beneficiary when we need him to return to complete his case. Thank You

  4. to race thru my mind because I truly believe the man at window eleven is doing this to a lot of us. My husband hung around the day he was denied and watched him at work. No one was allowed out that was interviewed by hin, no one!!

  5. I have become friends with a lot of the ladies at the State Department. They know I call every single day about my case. They say they know the marriage is legitimate because I never miss a day calling. Just like I never miss a day emailing Lagos and asking to speak with the consulate general. Sometimes I never create a new email I just look through my 275 and send another thought that continues t

  6. Administrative Processing which in this case was in my mind a ploy to destroy this marriage because even USCIS has told me I got a bad guy on the wrong day. The lady even offered to pray for me. Even the reps at the call centers are stressed over the injustice they see & hear of daily.

  7. January 5,2008 will mark the 1 year anniversary that the man at window eleven looked into my husband's eyes (even though we returned with all the extra information he requested, original marriage license, more pictures & phone bills) he handed my man a white piece of paper with one lousy line on it saying sorry but you request has been denied pending 221G and you have been placed in admini

  8. December 21,2007 marks the one year anniversary for my husband's first interview exactly 6 months after we were married. Since then I have written Lagos 275 emails, multiple phone calls involved 2 congressman and 2 senators who they disrespect and hardly ever answer their congressional inquiries. This in itself is breaking the law on their part to disrespect one of these guys.

  9. So VJ friends I am trying to find out if the name was cleared but for some unknown reason the US Embassy in Lagos never got word. That is why I contacted Mrs. Bush. Plus she is a wife and a mother.

  10. con't mine except the Consulate General Yvonne Barber. But getting to her is like putting the Titanic on your back and swimming to safety with it before it sinks.

  11. First let me say that no one has any control over the embassy, but more often than not, it happens that the FBI and the Embassies hate each other and seldom convey information in a timely manner. Each blames the other for all the long immigration delays & bottlenecking. Sometimes the FBI will clear a name and never tell the embassy. From what I have learned no one can change a consulatate

  12. first let make a Correction because I keep sayin I wrote the First Lady Barbara Bush when in fact I wrote the Frist Lady Laura Bush, but one of her staff members did call me from the white house and promised to make an inquiry about our case to the FBI.

  13. I wrote First Lady Barbara Bush in August and guess what, I got a call from the

White House yesterday. The lady said they will inquire about my case directly through the FBI and I should know something in about a week. I'll start smiling when I hear something positive other than the run-a-round I've been getting from the State Department. it took almost 4 months to get a reply.

  14. Patrick & I have been in administrative processing for 10 months & 25 days. US Embassy in Lagos has not given a real reason but it could be (1)short courtship b4 we married, (2) absolutley no emails becasue we used the stupid phone cards and they wanted acourt order b4 they would release my phone records or (3) our religion.

  15. Administrative processing is something they do usually when the relationship needs more proof that it is bonafide. They can keep you in it 2 weeks or 2 years. All they are doing is using your petition as a coffee coaster until you or your spouse dies or just gives up and get a divorce, or the wife moves to lago!!s

  16. Well it has been a while. That's becasue I have been going thru hell withthe Lagos Embassy. Either these people are just plain corrupt with no blood running through their veins or they put all K-3 people thru this #######. I received an emailed dated 11-23-07 stating in bold letters that "This case is still under review we will notify you once the review is complete

  17. How is your wife? I pray all is well for both of you.

  18. I've read what others ahve said and I agree. The k-1 visa will be best. If you let her come here do not marry her. Send her back & petiton for her via the K-1 visa. She'll be back in 6 months tops!

  19. Why another Africian?

  20. Julezabelle is correct. This is never good. They are trying to revoke your petition. Call your congressman or an attorney or email cisombudsman, but get help!

  21. Since he has already found someone else and possibly become sexually involved she needs to divorce him!!

  22. His wife can't get a visa? Is she like bared for 10 yeras or something for lying to the government? Not honest how? Hard to take sides when you only know part of the story.

  23. Administrative processing 10 months 2 days.

  24. I am now Lonely for Lagos.
