  2. Thanks so much you guys... this is a huge help to be able to ask questions. Well... I called USCIS and they assured me that the date they would be working off of would be the actual "date received" of October '07 even though my NOA1 date is Jan. '08.

    they have repeatedly told my congressman that no formal action can be recognized until 6 months past the NOA1 date

    This makes a lot of sense and they are definitely buying themselves some time with this "technicality"

    I have been a member for a while but have not posted.

    I'm getting more active in the community now.

    My question is... I sent my application on 10/15/07. My NA1 has a received date of 10/17/07 and a notice date of 01/11/08. When I check my case online it states that my application was received on 01/11/08.

    Which date am I looking at to check the Processing Times on the USCIS website. It better not be January because they are on July still. Anyone had this problem?
