Why not call C&BP and find out?
I guess you could say that for almost any question posted on the website. Why not just call the office directly.

My wife was issued form I-94 when she entered the US in Chicago. She washed it the other day and even thought he form is legible the stamp was washed away. On the replacement form I-102 it says not to use this form "to request an action on Form I-94 issued by US Customs & Border Patrol. If you are seeking a new form I-94 based on form you should contact the nearest CBP office or port of entry" Has anyone been through this?

On my 693 they are asking for an A #. Do I have that yet? Is it the number that appeared on the NOA2? (797 Petition approved) How many numbers should an A# have?

So we just got married and we're about to apply for the adjustment of status. If I don't submit form 765 will my wife have to wait until the interview to get her work permit? Does that take about a year?

My fiance entered the US in Chicago. The officer was very nice. He did go through EVERY page of our documents and when he finished he kept them. Does anyone know why? The one thing we really need is the birth certificates.

Natasha just finished her medical exam in Madrid. When she picked up the results the doctor gave her everything in a plastic shopping bag with a piece of scotch tape. Anyone think I'll have problems? Everything I have read says: Don't open your records. This baggie thing seems like a joke.
Yikes...that's odd! It wasn't sealed? I think when people talk about not opening your records what's meant is that you're not supposed to open the brown envelope the Embassy or Consulate gives you when you get your visa, which INCLUDES your medical.
The method however of how they gave the medical to your fiance is awful. Not much "confidentiality" there! Make sure she brings the "bag" to the interview! Just curious, did your fiance say anything to them about the plastic shopping bag?
Yes. Natasha asked about the bag. She said this doesn't look very official. and he said. well, just don't move the tape. I wonder if they can approve the visa and ask for new copies of the med. records?

Hi Vjmembers,
I dont have imunization record , as I read the panel physician will decide what's vaccination will I get .
When will be the best for vaccination , after or before medical check up ?
should vaccination be done before interview date??
Thanks in advance
Check with the doctor that is doing your exam. He may be able to get you up to date. He/She can probably figure out what you need. Good luck!

I have not seen any instructions that indicate that I need a apostilles for Natasha's birth certificate and some other documents. Has anyone been through this who can tell me if the embassy asked for apostille documents?

Natasha is my fiancee from Argentina living in Spain. Her passport was stolen a year ago while she was in Ibiza. She went to Barcelona and the Argentinean Embassy gave her a replacement. This replacement version is not machine readable nor does it have a chip. We'll be going in for an interview soon. Will this be a problem? Has anyone else experienced this?

i have a question about the notary portion of the form... it says sworn to me (AT) with a line to fill in.... is that to mean (AT) the county the notary is in???? i am trying to send it off this weekend to my husband and i need to have it notarized today before i leave work. thanks
Don't sign it until you are in front of the notary. He/She will know exactly how to fill it out. The county is a place for him to fill in. Remember DON'T SIGN IT UNTIL YOU ARE IN FRONT OF THE NOTARY.

Has anyone gone to apply for a social security number? We should be getting a work permit soon. Our I94 was mutilated in the wash and a new one costs near $300. The directions say you need an I94 card but I'd like to hear what experiences any of you have had
