I sure aint arguing either.....moved 11 places on Igor's list in 24 hours 347 to 336.
Thank you VSC, and keep 'em rolling
I am having issues getting registered on line to even see my touches. The site keeps stating my receipt # is invalid. I called the 800 # they state the site can not hold anymore information but I see you sent for your K1 after us. We mailed our paperwork on the 28th of Oct and I have a receipt # in hand. If you have any ideas how I what I can do to trace mine I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Sherri

One more thing...talk of how we communicate and keep in touch. Well, I go to Bogota as much as I possibly can. I call 2, 3, 4 times a day. We text back and forth too. We use to e-mail alot, but now it is usually just to send pictures or to explain something in detail. Mesenger programs we haved used and still use, but our schedules make it difficult sometimes. Mostly call on the phone. I love her voice. When I actually hear her it means more than when I see her in a messenger program. I know, I know, men are visual, but I love to hear her voice and I can detect her mood so much better when I hear her.

While I am here...lol, I have a question. I realize all the information on approvals on this site are due to people filling out timelines. When it says 34 have been approved out of the VSC that it means 34 have been approved out of the VSC that have taken the time to come to this site AND fill out a timeline. Is there or has there ever been an accurate estimation of what percentage of people that file I-129F petitions come to this site AND fill out a timeline. 10%, 25% or more. I am curious how many approvals are actually coming out of VSC.

Here is something positive to think about. Vermont seems to have really gotten their act together. They are out performing California. According to my timeline, the projected NOA 2 approval is between May 16, 2009 and May 29, 2009. I checked on the California list and tried to find someone that has the same NOA 1 date. I found someone that is one day later and their projected NOA 2 approval is between March 16, 2009 and March 23, 2009. That is two months difference. If Vermont stays on its current pace, our time estimates would definately start changing in our favor. Of course California will change not in their favor. I would be happy with something in the middle. I will say MY NOA 2 approval will be between April 16 and April 29. No true science, but some thought and some wishful thinking. I know they are just estimates, but I choose to make a positive out of it.

As it stands now, there were 35 I-129f's approved out of Vermont that have timelines on VJ.com this past week. For those of you that sometimes might wager a Coke on things, I am setting the over/under at 30 for the week beginning February 2.
More than 30, or less than 30?

I just got back from Bogota and had hoped when I came back that I would have seen hundreds of NOA2's out of VSC...WELL, I can hope. What is the deal with all the approvals on the 14th and then hardly anything. Coincedence that those on the 14th have posted here and they are still approving at that rate but none of them posting here? I don't think so.

Maybe this joke is a little too regional, but I like it and my kids like it.
What do you call cheese that does not belong to you?

Time has seriously started a very slow crawl for me. I'm going to have to get busy doing something else so I don't go bonkers checking the USCIS site every hour for the next few months.
It is sure good to hear that I am not the only one.

Is anyone else getting a lot of touches? I got touched again today. I wonder if I should be worried...
It is difficult to know if it is a good thing, bad thing or does not mean anything. Let's look at that "proverbial" glass as half FULL.

Good Luck to ALL! It is really great to be able to communicate with others in a similar situation. My friends and family support me, but do not understand exactly what we are going through. I look forward to having all of you as support. THANKS!

After attempting through my bank to get my case number off of the back of my check yesterday, I received the hard copy of NOA1 in the mail (12-15-08).

I mailed on I-129F (packet) on the 4th and they received on the 5th. My check was cashed on the 9th. I spent so much time getting things together that now I feel like I have nothing to do but wait. It will be very interesting keeping up with everyone's progress.

Is there a spanish section of the forum?

This site is great and I have my K-1 packet ready to send to the Texas Service center. I followed that guides provided here and they were a great help. I do have one question. How much money (check) do I send in with the packet. I have read $455 and I have also read $110. What am I missing?
Also, who is the check made out to.
Thanks so much.

I checked my e-mail yesterday and nothing. I checked for touches, no touches. I got on a plane for Bogota and this afternoon I checked my e-mail and we were approved. I guess they were waiting for me to be here with Lorena before they approved it so we could celebrate together. LOL
