  1. Hi everyone. My fiancé has his interview (Algeria) scheduled for Oct 29th and I have a few questions. What documents or info do I need to provide to him for him to take along? From his understanding on what he was told he needs to show them proof that I have an American bank account along with proof of employment and my tax return. I cannot find anywhere where it says I need to provide a proof of bank account. I saw the others listed but not that one

another question is for my I-134, when listening my employment. I work 2 jobs. One is a full time job employed by someone however my 2nd job is part time and it is delivering doordash orders. The form only leaves room for one job and doesn't provide or mention adding on anything. Another issue is delivering doordash is technically considered a self-employment job (I get a 1099 for this and not a w2) so how do I provide proof of employment for them that states how long I work for them and how much I make a year which varies depending how much work I do and how much the customer tips.

What are some current questions they are asking during the interview?

I am so nervous that I'm gonna forget something or give the wrong info and we've come so long to finally get this far and dont want to get a rejection

  2. and honestly I'm nervous as hell that I'm not going to do something correctly and get denied.  I've got just about everything together and filled out but I have a couple of questions especially with the I-129 form

    1. On many of the videos I've watched on YouTube about assembling the packets, they included the terms of service to the dating site they met on to proove it wasn't a mail order bride kind of thing.  We didn't meet through a dating site, we met through a mutal friend and talked (and still talk) to each other on Facebook and Messenger.  Should I include a terms of service for Facebook in my packet?

    2. I work a full time job but I also do Doordash part time as a 2nd job.  I was told to include that but I've was told since I'm technically self employed with doordash I should put in my own address in under it.  Should I use my address or should I put in the address for DoorDash?

    3. under Information about your parents, my father is deceased so what do I put under City of Residence?  Where he last lived?

4.The section on page 7 "Your Beneficiary's Name and Address in His or Her Native Alphabet" confuses me.  Am I suppose to write his name and address in the Arabic language? Because I have no clue how to write those letters.  All the videos I've watched on YouTube they left that section blank.

    5. When seeing samples of items such as  the letter of intent to marry, The thank you letter, declaration of how we met, etc. I have seen 2 different addresses for the USCIS listed on them. One of them was a PO Box in Dallas TX and the other was a suite in Lewisville TX, which one do I use?   I've also seen 2 different addresses on where to send the application to listed on their website on Both in Dallas.

    Thank you in advance

  3. Hello.  My fiancé and I are in the process of applying for a K-1 visa and putting the packet together.  I've been watching videos about what we need to include but I have a few questions because I want to make sure we have everything correct.

    1. For the evidence of how we met, all the videos I have seen the couples met on dating sites so they include the terms of service of the dating site.  My fiancé and I did not meet on a dating site, we met through a mutual friend when I asked about a photo of my fiancé that our friend had on Facebook.  What do I need to include for this.  I saw someone say if we met through a friend we would need signed letters from at least 3 people about it.

    2. For the letter of intent to marry, it was mentioned that they need signatures from both of us. Do they have to be actual handwritten signatures or can his be a scan of his signature since he is in another country from me?

    3. Do I need to include both of our birth certificates? And for his do I need the actual certificate in his native language?  I have a copy of his but it is a translated to English copy and not the official one in his language.

    4.  I am a widow so I'll need to prove that I am single, correct?  What do I need to include for that proof.  Will just a copy of my late husband's death certificate be ok or do I need to get other forms of proof? (I think its called a letter of celibacy?)

    5. When filling out the I-129F form where it says to include places you are employed.  I work a full time job but I also for extra income I do DoorDash and Ubereats.  I am not officially employed by DoorDash/Ubereats,  I guess they call it contracted by them.  Do I need to include them since I was  not hired or officially employed by them?

I thank everyone in advance for their time and answers.
