I heard from another VJ'er about The British Aisles in Nashua, NH. It's about an hour north of Boston - my husband and I just went this weekend and it is AMAZING!! They had tons of stuff and the owners were so nice. It's actually a wholesaler, they mostly deliver to supermarkets, but they open to the public, too. The hours are weird so you have to call ahead. You can check out their website to see what they have:
The owners recommended another place for us, Thwaites, which is a butcher/baker in Methuen (40 minutes north of Boston). They apparently do Scotch eggs, steak and kidney pies, and fresh sausage, etc.
What do you miss the most?
