    In china, one interview will be cancelled and rescheduled automatically as consulate will get latest updates. If you would like to reschedule the other parent, you need to send email. I have done this and consulate was able to accommodate easily but not sure about each country

    Totally fine. My parents did that. But short visit should always prepare return tickets
