    Hi there folks ,

I am on the same situation I have passed my nat interview test in July,2021 . Still waiting for the oath ceremony till now ! I requested also a name change . Did you request a name change as well ?!

I also need to know if Baltimore's courts have a clerk number where I can call and inquire about the oath scheduling ?

One last question , if I get informally separated from my spouse now will this affect my eligibility for naturalization ?

I could have have used the 5yrs rule I stead cause I was married since 2014 , but since I did not know that I would have to separate from my US spouse I used the 3 yrs rule !

Any insights guys will be appreciated .

    Thanks a lot

I did not request a name change, but did change my address. I don't think that made a difference but I would urge you to let them know if you have changed address.

As for the Baltimore number, I'm sure you could find that online easily. I am in New York so different offices.

I still have not had my date, and making inquiries has not helped me at all. Just have to wait. But the best advice I can give you is tell them if there has been any change in your situation. If you are caught lying it will not end well.

Have u talked to the Clerk of the court and asked ?

main number for Southern District is

    212-805-0136

I say ask because the following page says they do oaths each Friday

    https://www.nysd.uscourts.gov/programs/naturalization-ceremony-and-schedule

    The Naturalization Ceremony

On each Friday, a District Judge presides over the Naturalization Ceremony that is held in the Ceremonial Courtroom located at the Pearl Street Courthouse.* Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the ceremony, applicants are processed by USCIS Officers and Deputy Clerks of the Court.

    Thank you, that's extremely helpful!

  3. Hi,

I passed my naturalization test, in New York City, on June 2 2021 and I'm still waiting for the date of my oath ceremony. That's 7 months, when the documentation says it shouldn't take more than 30 days.

I understand that these are extraordinary times, but I was wondering if anyone else has had as long a wait for theirs, or longer? Is there some way to find out how long you might be waiting?

    Thanks in advance.
