  2. As a new residence here...My work experienced is only outside America. Many of the employers are hiring only those applicants that has an In country experienced I am little confident about it. Entry level or company training jobs is also a great oppurtunity for those who have no job experienced here in US. If I will be lucky to hired by them it is a very great chance on my career. Right now, I accepted the job at Macy's as a part time job(PM) shift only...So...if someone will hire me for a better job w/c is line in mycareer,well....that would be great...instead of no income while waiting for a day job or full time job...I grabbed this oppurtunity..thank you Macy's...this would start my experienced in my career in US. By the way...US in now hiring for postal jobs and goverment career nation wide...they will send you reviewer for the exam, tips to past for the exam, and give informations also on government offices with available jobs near to your place.Soon also I will take the exam because govenrment jobs have lots of benefits on it if you will be hired.

  4. :luv: I received my Green card last November and SSN last December .After a 1 month vacation in my country,I returned in US last January 15 and starting searching jobs tru internet. And I am very amazed not expecting that some Agents and Employers replied so instantly and fastly . But having no Drivers license yet keeps me difficult on accepting their Interview offers because of far distance from my place. If I will be lucky enough ,I prefer jobs 7 miles up to 15 miles distance that will be easy for me to commute by bus or train. My obejective and goal now is to have an in-country experienced no matter what job is. Being an experienced Admistrative Support and Customer service, my dream is to be on field of Airline,Airports,Hotels and Restaurant. Because I love to meet different kinds of people everyday. After 2 weeks of staying home and just searching jobs tru internet, I get out of my cave and take a bus to the mall and look for a sign "HIRING NOW" I need an incountry job and why not apply for any jobs no matter what it is ??? I signed-up application on different store as a Sales Associate and lastly enter the Macy's staff and ask if they were hiring now. YES were hiring. I eneterd the executive office , signed up application, ask if want to be interviewed right away and then that's it! I grab this job oppurtunity!!!. I am now proud of being Sales Associate of Macy's  I am scheduled for training and orientation soon ,then start this job. macy's is located just 2.7 miles from my house.Just 1 bus ride.LUCKY! :dance:And one more thing.. there is a big discount for store associate including family shopping too! This is just alittle experienced of mine and I hope this experienced will help share someone for those peoplewho is just starting life in America. :luv: GoodLuck to all of you... (F)

  7. Last time ,I am trying to buy a cel. phone but the mobile company disapproved my application because I still have no credit history.,...and it really embarrased me. :( Then the next day, I try to applied for a credit card by the internet searching "credit card for no credit"..and lucky there are some credit company who offers credit card for those who wants to build a credit history and the first credit card that approved me is the "capital one" they gave me a $ 300 offer to start :) then try another one which is Visa platinum by credit one and I was approved by $ 200 . Anyway, even it is on low start cash credit limit I believe this would start my credit history if I will pay on time :D I also tried to applied for a retail credit card but they were all in verification case of 30 days. I hope this experienced will help you guys. By the way, I am still looking for a job and upon filling up the application at work field information, I declared that I am a Home maker and just put my spouse salary income on total hosehold income...goodluck 2 all :luv:

  9. I can't touch my computer when my hubby is off.he's jealous. He wants me just to be beside him during weekends

Why don't you tell him that you are an adult and are going to get on your computer whenever the phuck you want to do?

ummm that is the law to our house...because everyday when he is out to work I am using the computer and that's ok with me that's too much. I think..so I have to give him my time for him when he is at home especially on weekends....it is a family day.

There's actually law in your house??:huh:

Not actually law..I mean you have to consider your partner important whenever he is around...not exactly he is jealous...there are do's and don'ts..."attention" I think is the right word for that. As a wife... I think the best thing to do when your hubby is around is to serve him,do the house chores.to be with him all the day in/out of the house.because on 1 week 5 days he is out and at night just a few time only to talk.So on weekends, this is the only days you have to spend with him.

  12. never had a problem yet with the two different names on the green card and passport... they've never even asked to see my marriage certificate lol.

Thanks for the answer, good thing i caught that before i clicked "buy the tickets" in my married name!

I am divorced and I have my ticket name the same on my passport and my greencard is now on my married name so I have to bring my divorce cert., my marriage cert. and my birth certificate for verification at the airport.
