Lazybuny. What’s the estimate date for completion for your FOIA? Mine
filed on 12/10 says 2/3 as completion . Since you have filed in November it should have crossed the estimated completion date ? Or are they moving the completion dates ?
It was Jan 3rd. lol
They didn't move the date.

I got my interview scheduled while FOIA in Stage 2 and it still in Stage 2 for almost a month now. Not sure if this is helpful.
Well, congratulations on getting the interview!!
Hope mine comes soon....it's been tough....

I don't know if anyone remembers me, but as I mentioned before: I requested A-file back in Nov 2021. It got stuck in step 2 for more than 2 months. Today it finally moved to step 4.
Still no information on interview scheduling yet. How long did everyone wait to get an interview notice, after A file request moved to step 3? 1-2weeks?

@Lazybuny Have you recently checked your FOIA request? Has it moved to Step 4 or have you heard back on your interview request yet?

Ok - Please try following up with USCIS (preferably tier 2)
I called today, didn't get to transferred to tier 2. The person answered my call says the A-file takes up to 109 business days. And my case is still pending at local field office. I plan on calling again in a few days

Any update on your status ( has it moved to step 3) ?
Not at all. I've also contacted my congressman office and waiting.....this whole process is making me feeling depressed

What is your estimated completion date? .. perhaps you have been in the country for long time they need to search for paper documents..just guessing..hang in there
Thank you for your reply. Estimated date is 1/5.....I'll hang in there for another few days, and fingers crossed for news in the New Year....
I know people who have been here years longer than I am have received interview notices (we filled for A-file within a week of each other)

I need some luck here. I filed in November 2021 to request my A-file. Currently I'm in 3800+ in the waiting line, and it's still in step-2 :(
Don't know why it's taking so long to get my documents... What else can I do to move it??
