This is really bad news for me....i am quiet worried now.

I read the article and I am still not clear if I will be affected. My fiancee just got her packet 3 yesterday and I am not sure if the Cambodian govenment will issue a police certificate or proccess docs from the medical exam. I really hope this doesn't affect me because i am not seeking a marriage license in cambodia. I am applying for a k1 visa for my fiancee to come to the U.S. and get married with me.

If anybody know more on this please share. Thanks.

Thank you all…especially NavarreMan…you’ve put my mind at eased. I plan to go to Cambodia to have an unofficial ceremony in mid July and need that 6 month to cover that date. I have a question…..

Can someone tell how much time a person have to enter the US once a K1 Visa is issued? Specifically, the US Embassy is in Cambodia. I think its six months but I just want to confirm.

Someone told me that its 3 month so I am a little concern because it will affect me and my fiancée’s plans.

I just download the I-134 form from the USCIS website and the expiration date on it is 4-30-07.

Can I use this form?...or is there a later version?

I have a question regarding the Affidavit supporting evidence....

For the Bank Statement, Do I have to get a signed statement from the bank?

Or just a statement that is unsigned detailing date account open, amount deposit for the past year, and current balance is good enough?

Got my NOA1 Hard Copy in the mail today! I was so excited to see it, and wasn't even expecting seeing as my check hasn't been cashed yet.

My Check got cashed! It showed that it got cashed yesturday but finally showed up on my bank account today.

I can't make out the WAC # on the back of the check but I'm not going to complain....just glad that CSC open my packet....i'll wait for the hard copy. what a relief!

Nothing yet for me. I just check my bank account again right now...my check is not cashed.

I have a feeling the rest of us that haven't got our check cashed yet will get to breath easier by end of this week....i hope.

Nearly 40 days and check is not even cashed....

I've noticed some other VJer's that have sent their petition in around the same time I did and their checks or money orders have been cashed. USCIS's website also says all initial data entry should have been done by now.

Now is it time to worry? I know there are delays and all that, but the fact that my check hasn't even cleared yet worries me a lot. I would think the first thing they want is to have 455 dollars more, then get around to the NOA.

Anyway, would you give them a phone call by now? Has / is anyone else experiencing this delay? Where would I place my call to?

I feel your frustration. My packet was received on the same date as you and I heard nothing yet from CSC...no cash check. I hope this give you some comfort knowing you are not alone...there are many September filers feeling the same thing. So far I haven’t call USCIS after reading other posts about the 90 days requirement. However, I did email ombudsman last week but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm trying very hard to be patient but I wish I could have that peace of mind that my file is not lost somewhere.

I hope in the next coming week…all of us that haven’t heard a peep from CSC….will have less money in our bank account.

Just saw my check got cashed yesterday! Can't see any 13 digit number starting with 3 letters though. Guess i have to wait for the notice.

There was a stamp that said Oct 21, 2007 on the back but no other non-bank numbers.

Hopefully this is the start of a trend!

Hello all...I'm a newbie...my first post.

I sent my I-129F on Sept. 25th and received by CSC on Sept. 26th.

I'm still waiting for NOA1. Hopefully I will get it sometime this week.
