I have an appointment but I need someone with personal experience or knowledge of someone who might have been in a similar situation......

All right here's the deal..

My wife is here on visitor Visa, and her I-941 expired on February....In december we filed an I-539 extension for her visitor visa.....and no reply till now...we have the receipt of the application to show that she's lawfully present.

.our I-130 is completed and NVC is close to complete...we submitted all the paperwork, marriage certificates, birth certificate, Affidavit of support, except the police report.

Now she has to go back to finish up the police report paperwork to be submitted to the NVC....

The question is:

Once the case is complete at the NVC, would there be ANY issues at the cairo embassy since she has the pending Extension? Would they consider the receipt enough proof that she was lawfully present or would that cause a denial of the IV application?

PLEASE HELPPPPPPP...she was supposed to leave tomorrow but we had to wait until end of June until we get a good answer for this question.

would those Police certificate, marriage certificate be translated, and accompanied by a photo copy of the original or would they need the originals in the native language?

Those original documents are very important/hard to obtain and I am not sure if I have to send those originals in (marriage certificate, birth certificates), .

I think I am still confused

I think this is my first post, but I am getting confused about what information is needed to be sent with DS-230 part 1?

Currently here's what I got

DS-230 part 1 completed and signed

DS-230 Part 2 completed and UNsigned

2 passport photos of the beneficiary

1 photocopy of passport biographic information

Am I supposed to include all other documents copies along with this part (i.e. police certificate photocopies, marriage certificated , etc? or would those be taken to the consulate/embassy when the interview date is set??

My NVC case number was assigned on April 15th, and AOS Bill/DS3032 were generated april 21st...Sent email on April 22nd for DS-3032

I got a question though..would the AOS bill and IV bill would be sent together now, or do we still have to wait for the IV bill to be generated to do that after the AOS fee is paid??

FInally just received my NOA2 approval dated 4/1/08 after an RFE that was requested.....
