  1. You are welcome! If I were you, I would also call again tomorrow and there might be someone else who can double check for you. I think they can confirm for a specific tracking number.
  2. Thank you! We found their number on Google Map. Since we mailed our documents to "955 1re Avenue, Sainte-Catherine, QC J5C 1C5", so we found a place called "Clipper Ship Supply Inc" with this address and their number is +15149379561. My husband provided our tracking number and they confirmed that they received our passports and they were picked by the consulate already. Hope this helps you, and good luck!
  3. Does anyone has any experience about picking up passports from "BLS Vancouver – 850 West Hastings Street Unit B 50, Vancouver, BC V6C 1E1, CA"? Our cases were issued on Jan 18th, 2023 and have not receive any tracking emails. I read posts about this site and people saying if this site is selected for picking up, we will not receive tracking number and will receive pickup email directly later on. But the people who report this are mostly applying for non-immigration visas (mostly interviewed in Vancouver). Does anyone know what will happen to us on this site?
  4. Friends, we finally got our status changed to issued this morning! Since the timeline above, 12/28/2023: New medical reports requested by consulate 1/5/2023: New medical reports were submitted through eMedical system 1/18/2023: CEAC status changed to issued TAT - finally after such a long journey And for the friends here, do you know - 1. Now will we receive sealed package with passport or is the package already electronic now? 2. When should I expect to receive the email with tracking number? 3. I plan to drive from Vancouver to Seattle to pass the border, does that sound a valid way? Anything that we should prepare in advance? Thank you all and wish you all the best! And good luck everyone sincerely
  5. I think APRIL2023 made a good point about medical report. The old medical report will expire after 6 months. To me it's a little strange that the consulate did not request both passport and new medical at the same time. Since your AP takes 10 months, if you mailed your passport from the US, and then they also asked for a new medical check, which can only be taken within the Canada, then your situation would be awkward. It might be safe to send the consulate an email to check this before sending back your passport, but I am not sure if they can give you a concrete answer.. sorry. Good luck!
  6. Thanks! Yes, more previous timelines about my case was posted in https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/786919-the-dreaded-ds-5535-thread-for-montreal-post-here-and-support-each-other-part-2/page/177/#comment-10934342. All answers for your questions were there.
  7. Since Dec 29, 2023, some more updates: Jan 2, 2024 - We went to do the second medical exam Jan 2, 2024 - Saw Case Last Updated changed to Jan 2, 2024 for myself only. In the past, this happens when we received some email replies.. This time, no any response for my email sent on Dec 13, 2023 about getting back our passports.. I am not sure if in the last stage, the consulate will ignore this request because they thought the process is close to the end ...... Jan 5, 2024 - The doctor's office told us that the reports were submitted for both of us. I saw Case Last Updated time changed to Jan 5, 2024 for both me and my husband. Jan 8, 2024 - The Case Last Updated time changed to Jan 8th, 2024 for both of us.. I guess this was triggered by receiving our new medical reports.. And since then, no any other information from the consulate. From some previous posts, people said they usually will return the passport back in 4-6 weeks after they received all documents. Actually, my passport has been hold for 2.5 months. I knew some delays were caused by the holiday season, which unfortunately triggers the expiration for medical reports. I told myself everyday that we are close to the end, just insist one more day. We have been in our friends place for a long time, work remotely for a really long time, and scheduling prenatal exams in Canada makes everything even harder for me. We are grateful for all understandings from our friends and colleagues. I hope everyone has the best luck in the new year and the same good luck for my new baby, who will come this June (I really hope that at that time, we are already back in our home in the US).
