  1. Wishing you the best of luck!!!

I got 2 touches last week, but still nothing, but soon we hope...Insha Allaah!!!

Just keep watching the website and your postal mail :)

    Thanks,

You know, I'm pretty quiet on VJ, but I read many posts and my anxiety level is maxed!! I trust things will work out fine, but its strange how the mind can play games with you. When I got out of the NAVY in 85, I waited 4 months in a transfer unit waiting for my honorable discharge. When it came, I had not had a dental exam which was required before discharge, and I waited another 3 weeks for this. This reminds me of this so much! I pray this goes quickly and without problems!

Thanks for listening to me whine!!

You are right about the anxiety level...let me tell ya!!! One thing that I have never really had was Patience  , but have learned through this process, that is the one thing that I do need!!

But we all are going through this long and very emotional roller coaster of a ride called Immigration

so, when you need to whine, vent or whatever, We are here for you, cause we all know exactly how your feeling.

I hope you hear something soon.....Insha Allaah!!!

Thanks.....The group of people here on VJ are so supportive of each other. This website has kept me from going crazy!! Good luck to you as well.

  3. You could try giving your service centre a call. Has your check been cashed yet? The usual USCIS standards are that it can take up to 90 days to receive your NOA1 so the most likely outcome of calling the service centre would be to'call back after 90 days'. I think there are people on this forum though who are in the same position as you and waiting for their NOA1 also. Its no consolation I know, but at least you know youre not alone. But if your check has been cashed, then you can use the number on the back of the check to track your petition on the USCIS website.

Thanks for your answer. I don't know if my check has been cashed or not. I sent MONEY ORDER of 455$ and I have no idea how to check if its been cashed or not!? Can anyone help me?

And about NOA1 I will wait till i have 90 days and I will call them to see. Thanks a lot.

I never got an NOA1. CSC says they sent it on Aug 02. They cashed my check. They say not to worry.

  4. I am sending my I-129F package today. I decided that I am not going to obsess about it anymore and just let go and hope everything is going to OK.

I am having a bit of difficulty though, with the distance apart. I miss her so much and I am finding it hard to be positive because my sadness some times takes over :crying: . I want the times that we communicate fun and light but sometimes I wear the sadness on my face. When we video chat. I am 33 years old but now I feel like I am 5, because everything affects my mood. I am normally a very happy, joyful person and I want this feeling to go away.

It has been just over a month since I have seen her last. I am have hard time now and I fear of the long journey ahead. I just do not understand why it has to be such a long process.

One of my fiancee's friends married a man in the UK and it only took a week to process their application. A week.

Anyway, I feel that I could use some support right now and if anyone has any suggestions on how to make this time apart just as amazing as the times together, I would greatly appreciate your words of wisdom.

    Thanks,

    Austin

Wow, sounded like me talking. Add to that the ocassional worry about if something goes wrong, and you have a recipe for depression!! I can get negative quickly if Im not careful, so I too try my best to show her I'm strong, yet let her know she is the most important person to me. Soemone here also wisely stated what I think. " If we get through this, there aint much that can tear us apart later" I hate waiting, and worrying, but there is no doubt I am a better person for this struggle. Remember, what dont kill you only makes you stronger. Just think how strong your relationship will be in few months. We are all here with you brother....

  5. Im so bad with separation and I wanna be together with my fiancé, Is it possible for my finance to get a visitors visa for 90days while we are processing? He lives in Japan. If not, I really want to go over there to stay with him. I will have an address here in the US for anything that needs to be mailed to me while we are processing. But then my other concern would be, if I go over there I wouldn’t be working of course, so then my income wouldn’t be sufficient according to the min poverty levels requirement. So anyone have any other suggestions??? What can I do, I know it sounds stupid, but im dying from separation, Im sure many of you feel the same way! Plus with the delay in things where I am processing, the California Center, makes it even worse, even longer to think about! Thanks!

Maybe this is more of a question than an answer, but isn't Japan on the Visa waiver list? I think so because I had an exchange student from Japan visit my family several times with no Visa. I would think that a Japanese citezen can do 90 days as holiday.

    Just my 2 cents....

  6. Hi everybody.

Sorry I don't talk much, but I read all your comments and feel almost part of a very diverse family here. My question is this. I sent my I129f July 20th. They recieved it July 23rd in NSC. They transfered it to CSC. The Websight has a last update of Aug 7th that says they recieved my packet August 2nd. The cashed the check in July. Soooo. who do I hang out with? July or August filers?

Secondly. For the record. CSC says they sent me my NOA1 on August 2nd. They confirmed this on the phone as well. I never recieved it. They say it is not important at this stage. ok???

    Thanks!!

    Brad

August Filer (not that it matters terribly)

As far as importance of not having a NOA1 - it's not that important. USCIS not having a correct address or some other issue with your mail is pretty important since having your NOA2 (Approval notice) will be pretty important later on. If it's possible, try to verify the address they have (both from the copy of your petition you sent in, and from them - USCIS). Also, it is a good idea to make certain your name is on/in your mailbox.

    Hope this helps...

Thanks....it does. I did call and verify my address with them. I was looking for a reason to call anyway. I'm afraid I cant see my NOA1 to verify the other date. So I hope I'm a July guy! This wait is not for the anxous or faint of heart. This is a real life changer.

  8. VSC hasn't been having as much trouble with NOA1s as CSC and the other pseudo service centers have. I got mine in three days.

I sent my our 129f on july 20. They recieved July 23rd. The online page shows updated Aug 7th. I never recieved any NOA1. I called them last week (csc) and they said they sent it Aug 2nd. We checke my address and made sure it was correct. Never got the thing....... I assume all is ok because the online sight shows me.

Question!! Does touched mean that the last update date online changes? Or how do you know it has been touched?
