Hi, I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at being unable to find information on some simple questions. 

Can I pay for an I-485 with a cashier's cheque or not? The video on USCIS YouTube page says I can. The website however asks me to check news at this link: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-updates-fee-payment-system-used-in-field-offices and it appears from this that I cannot? I am told I can pay by debit card but I don't see any information on how I would do this either.

If I am to use cashier's cheque, what goes in the memo? I read the information and it says to include an "A-number or other other applicable identification." Such as? I don't have an A-number.

Good to know. I will keep checking. I haven't booked the medical yet. I guess I should do that sooner rather than later. Thanks.

I have just paid the fee and I'm looking at the appointment dates. There are only two available and nothing after Nov 26th? That is too soon, I understand new dates will populate. When does this happen? I am okay to log out and return later to book when new dates are available without paying the fee again?
