    Do your taxes

Send with the W2s and tax transcripts.

Do you think they'll consider my application just since my husband earned well in the past? My husband should have a proper job by the time interview rolls around. Do you think it's worth the risk?

You already got this far and paid the fee. Do you really want to withdraw your application? Find a joint sponsor and continue the process.

There nobody we can ask to be our joint sponsor. Not in family or friends.

  2. My husband is a US citizen and my sponsor. When we completed all the paperwork for my green card he had a good job, but recently we received a letter saying that we need to resubmit some paperwork regarding the I-864. However, he lost his job and now when we refill I-864 our income won't come above minimum poverty level. I have been waiting to fill out the paperwork until after he finds a new job, but it looks like he won't find until after the deadline has passed for resubmission. So, should I even bother submitting the paperwork right now or just rescind my application?

    Thank you in advance!

  3. I'm doing to my paperwork to get a conditional green card after marrying my husband (a US citizen). I'm currently on a F-1 visa (that has expired, but my I-20 is still valid for 2 more years). I work on campus and plan to do so for the next two years at least. Do I need to file I-765 along with I-130, I-485, I-131, I-864? Also, my husband didn't file his taxes three years ago (he was a student, he didn't know any better), so he can only provide tax documents only for the last two years. Will that be a problem in our application?

    Thanks in advance.
