Hiii to all,

i have a very odd question... i was reading some where.. some countries have preclearence Customs and Border Protection before u get to the US ..is that considered a port of entry ..or all ports of entry are located in the US ???

..the NVC does eletronic filling to the Consulate... so when u get your RDJ number and know more or less when the NVC sent it out ..you can send to the Consulate the package 3 already... you dont need to wait to get from them... but dont send too early... i mailed out mine on the day it left from the NVC and i called the consulate the next day and she said it was at the computer already... ... But really i dont know if it works... they didnt set up the interview.. they say they will do soon .. i was sooo nervous that i did.. some other brazilian did too... we never know .. i want to spped it up..as fast i can... but they are realyyyyyyyyyyy leasy ..hahahahah

... i'm really nervous because i know it is close and in the end of this... but still no date... and wedding is all set up !!! everything has to work out perfect .. but with them ... is very complicated !!! ... bureocracy !! i hate this word !! hugt

... i know very well what are going through ... i'm at same point..filed at july 07 got approved on january 29th.. NVC processed on feb 20th and now is sitting at the consulate .. and i e-mailed them and they say they have everything and soon they will set up the interview !! why do they not set it up now??? what is the problem??? why do you have to wait?? what for?? ... every step that you can wait we have been waiting !!! sooo annoying!!!!!!!!...

it is soo close now... i'm very ansious ... to know the date and buy some plane tickets.. every event makes me more excited ... soo happy to go back home and to my love !!! ...

... but .. i saw at dhl.com ours have a schudele for deliver .. i think maybe is tomorrow .. but we never know.. i have never heard about that !!! ...

i just sent to you a message..i dont know if you got it ..i dont know very well how this works..sooo ... go at dhl.com - track by reference - and put this EXP 22 FEB 2008A ( and put the dates between feb 20 and feb 25 )... and you will see ... the most of the countries they already delievered .. but rio says with a deliever courier ..

UAUUU!! I WAS JUST SEEYING THE DHL POSTS AND TEACHS YOU HOW TO TRACK YOUR CASE MOVING FROM NVC TO THE CONSULATE ..UAUUU MINE WAS THERE !!!! SOOOO HAPPY !!!!.... I CAN BELIEVE THING ARE REALLY MOVING NOW..SOOONNNNN I WILL HAVE A DATE !!! ... BETTER BE BEFORE MY WEDDING ...AT JUNE 6TH .... I WISHH TO YOU ALL ..THE BEST LUCK EVER..BECAUSE THIS PROCESS IS SOOO PAINFULL ... I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT 8 MONTHS ... I'm sooo mad !!! ... The NVC says we didnt receive your file from USCIS ...and the USCIS says we already mailed it !!! We were approved on january 29th ...there is someone with the same date has the same problem ??? ... This diservice center is ridiculous ... i'm just praying for my file leave that place... they complicated things instead make easier !!! urghtt ... and those stupid people answer the phone they dont know what is going on !! every time you get a diferent answer... the last time one said to my fiancee we mailed it directly to the consulate .... they even know the process !! unbeliavable !!!! ..i dont know what to do anymore ... i dont want sit here and wait ... i have been waiting way too long !!!!

What is the problem with the NVC??? I have been trying to call them..but it is impossible always busy ... since last friday !!!! we got approved on 29th ...and i want to know if NVC has my case ((( I e-mailed them but they take a week to answer ... sooo annoying !!! They should have a wait line !! ..not kick you off .. HURGH !!! i'm sick of this waiting !!! Sorry guy... ))

My finacee already has her police certificates. They were issued by both the Federal and SECRETARIA DE SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA. They both told her that she had to go to the Cartório and have them stamp it.

She says that the certificates are official and not xeroxed. Why would she have to go to the Cartório? I am VERY nervous because the instructions specifically state "The certificates issued by “Cartório” or “Fórum” are NOT, repeat, NOT acceptable, in any circumstances".

She *just* recieved Package 4 today and our interview is on the 27th. I doubt there is time to have the certificates re-issued if they gave us the wrong ones...

Anybody have any knowledge on this????

(Sorry this is a cross post, but nobody has answered my other post and this is definately a time sensitive issue!)

This is normal procedure here in brazil... she must to do that .. is just to recognize "the firm " ... and she has to find out with them where are those cartorios .... because they specific ...for wich firm.. if she ask them they will give to her the adress .. and she does that in 2 seconds.. is very quick !!!
