NO it won't. In fact I did the very same thing. AND I didn't tell my lawyer( who was absolutly worthless). I also sent my lawyer an email firing her. So have your husband email the NVC and make you the agent. It is that simple!!!
A quick question on this - NVC just assigned my case a number. Can I email them now telling them that I want to be the agent? I think the forms are in the process of being sent to my lawyer now as my case has been there for 2 weeks. I just don't want to mess anything up.

I am a UK citizen married to a USA citizen applying for K3. Although I am not in USA now (and wont be for at least 5 months) I am very concerned about health insurance. I am disabled with spina bifida so insurance is very important to me. I've been told that insurance companies might deny me coverage for having a pre-existing condition if I have a lapse in coverage. I plan on getting on my wife's insurance policy when I get to the USA. My problem is, it takes a while to apply and get EAD and social security number so I will have a lapse in insurance coverage while waiting for this. Is it possible for me to get on her insurance before I get a social security number, or even before I get to the USA?

When I clicked on the link just now to pay on-line, the option is no longer there? Am I missing something?
