    whats was your attire during your POE?

    Wow Its been a year now since I got here in the US... Its nice to recall those exciting times... Well,. I wore Tshirt, jeans, tennis shoes, very thick socks and carried a jacket with me cuz i easily get cold,. It was really cold in the plane,. so I asked 2 blankets and 2 socks... haha... It was my hubby's instruction to ask for extra stuff to make me feel warm... I was in the first class though so they gave me everything I wanted.. and I was able to sleep real good,. It was my first time to fly out of the country so my hubby made sure to get me first class accomodation...

    My POE is LAX, I made sure that I look good before facing the immigration officer,. looking good is not putting on make up or dress up,. specially that u just came out from the long plane ride,. you dont have time for all of that,. Just make sure to comb your hair so you will not look messy,.

    Make sure that ur teeth are clean,.cuz u might smile at the immigration officer,.

    Be polite and confident in answering the questions and you'll be fine...

    I was having a hard time looking for my luggage though so My honey was at the waiting area for 2 and 1/2 hours carrying a bouquet of RED ROSES....

    Hi Eric,. I think I remember you during my Interview at Manila Embassy,. I saw you guys there... Im sorry I have no idea about this topic But I just want to say Goodluck and God bless on your Interview... I had my interview last February, It was very easy and quick.. I got my green card few days after the interview,. and we just came back here in Vegas from the Philippines to visit my family...

    Sorry for asking this here but didnt get much reply in AOS discussion area. We are a little confused and want to make sure we have everything correct.

    What do we need to send with the I485 for supporting docs?

    What family name needs to be on the forms? Should we use US Citizen family name or immigrant family name? (We want immigrant to have US citizen family name)

    Question: Current USCIS Status? What do we use for Fiance visa is we got married already?

    Part 3. Question: LiSt present husband or wife. Do we need to list US citizen husband?

    :dance::dance::D Got a call from her before she went to the gate, her plane leaves Manila at 9am local time and she will arrive here in NY at 6pm tomorrow. Im so happy :) Thanks to all who helped, advised and supported her through our long wait. Its truly appreciated. :dance::dance::dance:

    hi fellow vjers i have a question

    what are the things and how much will it cost us for the things we need to pay here in phil after submitting the 129f?

    we just want to prepare our budget hehe

    umm things like delbros, doc verification , medical and some more ,., sry i dnt know what else to pay and how much wud cost for everything

    Hi, you would need to prepare to pay the following:

    Visa Fee at BPI of course - $131.00 or P5,402.00 based on last month's rate

    Medical Exam Fee - about P7,500.00

    Delbros (for Doc Verification Fee) - P650.00

    Plane Fare - if you live in the province

    Hotel and taxi - if you live in the province

    Some other miscellaneous expenses for pictures, etc.

    Just had my CFO seminar last Monday, i paid 250 for the seminar and another 400 pesos for the sticker that is going to be placed on the first page of your passport... they won't do that if you don't have a visa yet... God bless you

    Hi guys, here i am again... I just want you to know that I am now preparing my things so i won't forget anything when i go to the US of A,.

    Monday i had my CFO seminar, and they put sticker on my passport and gave me some certification which proves that i attended the said seminar... (for those who did not have their seminar yet, prepare 250 pesos for the guidance and counseling seminar + 400 pesos for the sticker)

    I will fly using my own wings on May 16th at 5pm,..

    I know that God is always with me...

    I am so excited but scared at the same time cuz it's gonna be my first time to travel alone...

    Any tips for me???

    This is it guys.. Got my Visa on Hand right now. So thankful for the blessings i receive today.. It's very quick coz i received the text lastnight imagine the time is 12:44 a.m then call Delbros at 1:30 pm like what loterly said.. ( Lot.. 13.. u know what i mean.hahaha ) but the guy who answered me said to text on this number 09176221949 and the reply is very quick saying that visa packet is in transit. 5 mins after theres a man infront of the gate from Delbros..all i can say is WOW... What a wonderful day on my Brent's lucky day...Im very happy... as in my heart is dancing.. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    Babe this is it.. Few more days and we will have each other again. i love you so much babe.. And happy Birthday!!!

    And to Lot thanks for the information i told u.. this is our day.. 13.. we made it. am very happy to be part of this family.. it really help a lot.

    X-ray film during MEdical do i have to bring it with me???

    I handcarried it coz I was advised by some who traveled before me that they were asked for it at the Immigration though some told me it wasn't asked at all.I just wanted to be ready for it in case they indeed asked me for the X-ray film.Well, I wasn't asked for it :(. I would advise you to just include it in your check-in luggage if you can't handcarry it.Though it's often not needed or asked anymore at least you have it with you here in the US if there'll be a need for you to present that for your AOS process.Have a safe trip :)

    this is really great, thanks guys for your advice it really help me and know i have idea how to make it. YOur experience helps ME ALOT.AS what they said its better to learn frm other experience hehehe and i guess this saying is always been right.

    Yes your right i was quite worried if the NAIA will ask me additional fees cause, my money in hand that time will just be right, im glad you share to me your experience before leaving also.

    It would be an honor to me as well if i get to know sha sha and we can be good friends from there.
