Hello, I’m planning to bring my husband to the U.S. I am a citizen and we’ve been married for less than 2 years. We got married 8 months ago but we have been together for almost 6 years. We live separately, he is from Peru and right now I’m living in the US. I’m concerned our case will not be taken seriously because the only bona fide marriage evidence we can provide right now are pictures from the wedding ceremony and reception, travel vouchers back from 2016, passport stamps, I have him as a beneficiary on my savings and credit card account, calls history, chats, pictures with our families, he has me as a co-owner of his car and a beneficiary on his credit card account. That’s about all the evidence we have now.
Has someone gone through this situation before? If so, how did it work?
