    AOS from tourist visa that she received after the Ukraine War started, we tried to get immigrant visa in Poland once the war started but they told us just to get tourist visa then.

    Hello everyone! My wife already got approved I-130 and I-485 and green card made and on its way here, she received social security card today! And because she got the green card first, she won't need to rely the I-131 or EAD. I hope everyone's cases get approved soon!

    Thanks for the response, good to know some info, ill be able to file soon, just I was asking because we wanted to know if was safe or need to wait at least till we start processing the adjustment.

    Hello Emily, I have used the great advice here in the past, just I get I have a legal plan through work so I don't have to pay legal fees, they only request all the money for the forms upfront, I don't pay anything for the lawyer.

    Bad luck with money this year. I don't have $1700 for all the forms all at once...

    Well I fly for free domestically and also my lawyer wants the fees for all the forms all at once so I haven't had that kind of money all at once, I keep having unexpected issues that should only happen once a year but has happened many times.

    Hello, I was able to get my wife a tourist visa shortly after the war started in Ukraine ( she's Ukrainian) and when we entered the Port of Entry the officer said we had 6 months to figure out her paperwork to adjust her status. Well I spoke with a lawyer who will proofread all our documents but I haven't been able to pay yet and start the process so she can have work permission and travel authorization. My question is, we have been taking trips flying within usa during this time and she uses passport as I.D. , can she still travel within USA on an expired Visa? Does Tsa look into that and call immigrations or can we still fly before we submit paperwork to adjust status??
