Question here....I've noticed many references to applications being "touched" during processing. Where is this seen? When I check the website, all I see is "Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred." I don't want to miss something if it's important. I'm assuming if USCIS needs something I'll get a letter and/or the message will change on the website.
Congrats to everyone that's received all their cards.

Im very much sure you'll have good news too, hoepfully within the week. It seems like most of the June filers have reeceived their EAD and GCs and now this forum is quiet and the four of us were the ones left. Lol...anyways, I know we;re all going there..juts be patient.. good luck..
Thank you Maraandres!!! I hope USCIS is sure of that too
Did you notice that too?! I feel like there is only me-as a June filer (and all the other June filers who didn`t post their cases on this forum B) with 3 more people from this forum still waiting for their EAD and GC.
Anyway, I`m calm (sometimes less calm than I wish to be->when checking my only one I-485 online status available and seeing no changes ) and waiting for my turn to come.
Just like you said-hopefully sooner than later -and your "week prediction"-sounds perfect to me Hope USCIS shares it with us B)
Thanks again and good luck to you !!!
We got her EAD but still waiting on the Green card. I'd like to see that so we can take it easy for awhile with USCIS.

Jen got her EAD card yesterday. I guess green card is next. She's glad she can finally get out of the house and find work, something to do......

Jen and I just received email stating her card had been ordered. Said it could take up to 30 days but from reading on here, I guess we can expect it any day now. Still nothing on the AP but, again, that looks like we may not hear anything until it arrives in the mail. Congrats to all who are becoming permanent.
Congrats!
Email on a Sunday?????
Sorry, got the email Friday, just now posting on here.

All the hard work has paid off. My sweetie arrived to her new home yesterday. Wedding after Christmas. Yaaaaayyyy!!!!!

My sweetheart called to let me know her visa finally came. Booked the flight, she'll be in my arms Dec 13th. Hooray, we get to celebrate Christmas together.

Gotta love the US postal system. Called yesterday to try to track the "lost" mail. They insisted the Royal Mail still had it. 30 minutes later it's being delivered to my door. Paperwork is on it's way back to the embassy. Hope is still alive she'll be here by Christmas.

My fiancee received a 221g Blue Form at her interview requesting co sponsor as tax returns from 2006 did not meet poverty guidelines. I make over that all this year) Here's my problem......I've sent her all the forms requested except for the actual blue form. She express mailed this to me almost 2 weeks ago and I never got it. Post office can't find it. Is this going to be a major problem if she only sends the requested forms from co sponsor with the case number and no blue form. I'm going nuts here.........help!

So glad you found a sponsor so quickly. What shock that must have been. Still, you weren't denied it seems, just approved pending further info.
I've got my fingers crossed for you guys it all gets processed very soon.
From what J says, she was told the application was suspended until the co sponsor issue was resolved.

Was down this morning before work cause I knew my parents wouldn't help out; they disapprove of anything to do with our relationship. Sure enough, when I called my dad he reminded me of the way they feel about this and said no. I really had no idea who I could approach that would be willing AND able to co sponsor. I get to work and they could tell right away things weren't as they should be. I explained what happened and never got the chance to ask before I had 2 co-workers volunteer, no questions asked.
As soon as J gets the paperwork they gave her sent to me I'll be able to send it right back with completed forms etc from co-sponsor. Courier will pick it up from her home and deliver to embassy. Visa should be on way to J within days from that, so they told her.
All in all, puts things back a couple of weeks or so. Maybe by Christmas. Here's hoping.......
-
Visa denied based on income tax from last year. Never mind the fact I make more than enough now, I've already made more than minimum as of September. The "fat cow" as she called her wouldn't even look at the info for this year. Now she has to mail me a form to be filled out by a co-sponsor, if I can find one. So much for being here by Thanksgiving. Even Christmas is in jeopardy now.

J's on her way by bus to London as I write this. God, I hope all goes smooth for her. Interview is in about 5 hours. I'm nervous as heck........
-
My sweetie received her police report yesterday so now it's just the interview. I'm ready to get the plane tickets as soon as I get the word.
-
My fiancee woke me up early this morning to tell me the good news; she got her interview date.YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! Oct 31 at 8:30am. I didn't know they'd interview that early but no complaints. If all goes well, together for Thanksgiving. WooHoo!!!!!!!

After reading all these, now I'm a little worried. My fiancee and I see and talk to each other every day via webcam. It's very convenient and makes it seem like we're closer but unfortunately doesn't make for much evidence like snail mail or email logs.

Sorry, don't know how I ended up in the Philippines forum. Kinda rushed when posting and getting anxious, what with interview coming up and all. But thanks for the advice anyway.

I'm getting anxious with the interview process right around the corner for my fiancee in the UK. I've been reading up on what is needed or asked for at the interview. My problem is this: my tax return for last year is going to be borderline with the 125% over poverty guideline due to layoff etc. I've been at my current job a little over a year now and make well over the 125%. Should I foresee any problems for my fiancee at the interview (IO asking for only tax returns) or should she be ok if I provide copies of bank statement, paystubs etc? Thanks. I'd be pulling my hair out if I had any.

My sweetie has her medical Monday in London. Hopefully her packet 4 will be waiting her return home to Manchester on Tuesday.

Got to say I love it. I don't think it's a put down to a religion, just those that use a religion as an excuse to destroy. It's about time we, as Americans stood up and said what we feel; stop worrying about offending someone. If you live in this country and want to complain about it, LEAVE..........
