    Hey there! Congrats on your process moving forward!! 

     

    I was hoping to clarify and seeking some help for K1 (at the beginning :)

     

    - Can my fiancé come to USA on tourist visa and us file the application in the USA WHILE she is still here (returning less than 90 days)? 

           I had mix responses and we are concerned?? 

     

    *** Did you file K1 while in the USA? If so, did you do anything to make it not pick up she was not in the country? Any recommendations?

      Hello

      Can't be sure of my answers because I filed while in Canada, however all you basically do is send paperworks so I personally don't think it matters where you are physically during the time of the filing. However doing so, she gotta bring all relevant paperworks to the US in order to complete the package. 

       

      Once filed, she might be flagged as a K1 on her way back through the border once they scan her passport, I dunno if that does anything though.
