as an aside, with that much studying still to go imo a US qualification really should be considered instead, it’s going to stand you in better stead for the job market.

My mom petition me for IR2 visa, since I'm about to turn 21 pretty soon. The thing is, I'm still studying here in the Philippines, and I decided to finish my college here.

My questions are:

What are the rules to maintain, so I will not lose my IR2 visa?

Do I have to wait until I received my green card and I'm allowed to go back to the Philippines?

Do I have to go back every year to the US? If yes, how long should I stay?
