I sent them because the post office employee who was filing my application said that I have to send them with the application. Honestly, I was able to complete my kids immigrant visa without a naturalisation certificate. Ive never needed it for any thing since then and it was lost a long time ago. I don't have a copy. So you think the passport applications won't be approved without it ?I've already sent the applications and the post office lady said that we will leave it up to them (the passport facility) to decide. Or is there a chance that they can validate my passport, don't they have a record of all naturalisation certificates on file ?

Hi, I want to ask if I have lost my naturalisation certificate and I applied for my children's first time US passport as they are living with me in the US and are automatically citizens upon entering the US. However, for citizen proof, I used a copy of my US passport without my naturalisation certificate as it is lost. Has anyone ever done this? Will it be approved as the US passport proves my citizenship ? Also, in case of denial, do they send back the green cards right away? Lastly, does anyone know how long expedited passport + 1-2 day mailing service actually takes ? It says 2-3 weeks, but i am worried it will take longer as some sites say 3-5 weeks? Thanks alot for any help 🙏
