Hi!! I'm in a very similar situation as you.
I want to hear an update on this post Did you submit the letter to the DCF? Did you get accepted?
Would you mind sharing an outline of the letter from your employer, and share what other information you included when requesting to do DCF at the embassy?
I am about to get an job offer and I want to make 100% sure I submit a strong case for "exceptional circumstances"

I am hoping to apply for DCF in Israel based on a job offer with short notice, and I want to make sure I include all the relevant details so they don't reject my case.
I emailed the embassy asking what documents they need to start the process, and all they said is "send a letter from your employer with the start date, and we will evaluate if it meets our criteria" They're very slow to answer and stingy with the information.
Can someone please share a copy of the letter from their employer, or a template letter? And any other information they choses to include in this initial step of requesting to do direct consular filing.
I clearly meet all the requirements for the "exceptional circumstances" and will have a real job offer. I just need to know how to present it so that my case will not get denied. I'm planning on doing this without a lawyer. Let me know your thoughts on that.
Some additional info:
- I'm a US citizen
- Been living abroad for 6 years
- Currently employed in Israel
- My israeli partner and I have been together for 7 years, we're getting married in a month. (we have plenty of proof of relationship... shared bank accounts and assets)
- We want to relocate to the USA in the next 6 months.
- I am getting a job in the USA

Hi, may I ask why your first request was denied? What evidence did you submit?

Thanks for your answer.
What do you mean by a solid job offer? Just like with a good salary or at a reputable company?
I have no idea if my potential employer has written one before... they're a pretty big company so it's possible. I will only ask them after I receive an offer...
