We are so glad this is over just shy of one year since we started the K-1. Thanks to all you VJers for the support over the last year! If you havent got it yet it should be coming soon June filers!!!!

    Hang in there!

  2. Hi, we sent in things the same way not including a 2007 tax transcript as I filed for an extension. We however have not received an RFE yet (fingers crossed!)..

but I am just curious did you also send in 2 or 3 years of previous transcripts? letter from employer, bank, pay stubs etc...?

im getting my taxes done right now so just in case i need to send in the 07 transcript i can, but curious if sending extra stuff takes care of this issue? probably every situation is different...

    thanks!

Thank you so much everybody, I understand it better now...

Feels so good to know that we are ready to send the response to the RFE

  3. We are located in Chicago and early June filer (June, 6th) and we were notified both by post and email that our case was transferred out to CSC from the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER on July 24th. Then i received another email yesterday that our I485 "was transferred and is now pending standard processing" at CSC. According to the timelines it seems we were a little late getting transferred compared to others. A lot of people seem to be transferred within the first month or 6 weeks. I would have to say that the USCIS email system for us anyway has been working much better with AOS than when we did our I129 last year. Our fiance visa still says case pending!

    hang in there everybody!!

Looks like cases received early June are not being transferred as fast as cases received at the end of the month. That could be a trend or just an improved email communication process for new cases. Not sure if all early June cases are being email notified.

With all this Transfer situation I have noticed that most if not all of the Transfers are CSC (CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER) , Maybe the timeliness for people not in California are different.

Personally we are from Texas , Has anyone from Texas had their case transfered?

  4. I think that its pretty good news! I have read in a few different places around VJ that getting transferred to California can often mean you will not have an interview, and it will just be approved and sent to you! Hope thats true! Good Luck!

Figured they would let us know.. just wondered what would trigger them sending it to a different location.. if anything
  5. We are also at the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER for all three (I485, I765, I131) so far. Sent everything in to the lockbox on June 6th and had biometrics on July 5th. Based on March and April filers many are getting their EAD/AP at about the 2 month mark after submitting so we are hoping for that! Maybe we will get our 485 transferred out to California soon too! Good luck everyone and hang in there!

Well join the NBC club I sent my application to the lockbox and they routed it to the National benefits center formerly the missouri service center. Its where they send applications for pre interview processing. From here it can be routed to the California service center (which means most of the time no interview) or your local office for an interview. Either way there are a lot of people at the NBC. Im trying to locate almost everyone at NBC so we can have a general idea who's file they are working on and if there is a particular order....... well good luck sit tight because I am still waiting on my fingerprinting letter for almost a month and two weeks now....
  6. I would like to hear from those who are approved, but still onlin status is pending. Some people say they got NOA2, but their online status never changed. My fiance called three times, but we never got any touches and he even got infopass appt and talked to a representative, but no update. I wonder what it is going on.

Yep I just checked again still pending online.. But I got my NOA2 on tuesday in the mail.

  7. I am filling out the I-134 now and the VJ guide is a lot of help. But I'm not sure what to put down for the "I am _____ years of age and have resided in the United States since (date) ___________ "? I lived in the US since birth until now except for 3 years in Japan from 2003-2006. Do I put down the day I was born like the guide shows? Or the day I moved back from Japan?

    Thanks for your help!!

    Best,

    Kevin

  8. Hello my October buddies!!

I cant believe it! We got our NOA2 in the mail today!!! It says the notice date is Feb 14th. I am signed up for the email notification, but didn't receive an email at all. I check the USCIS page everyday but it only changed once on oct. 26th and once on feb 14th. I considered them both touches but i guess the 14th was the real deal!!! In fact it still says when I login that our case is received and pending.. but the paper is good enough for me!!

I was starting to loose faith in CSC with its poor performance since feb 13th... but have hope I am sure it is coming soon!! Hang in there everybody!!

  11. Ok everyone, It's my turn-------Approved, not just a approval, but a California Approval from October 9th filler. I couldn't sleep and checked my email, and it came at 10pm at night. I saw a touch earlier in the day. Hope others get a great Valentines present as Lyuba and I did.

    Congratulations!

And thank you for posting this. It is very encouraging to see an October CSC filer approved at last!

    GRATZIEESSSSS to all APPROVALSSS!!!!!!!!

and HAPPY VALENTINES Everyoneee!!!!! MORE Approvals to come!!!! Godblesss!!!!

Yes! I got touched!! Its got to be soon I hope!!

  12. I think they always ask for pics that have been taken within the last 6 months. So if you have ones left over from before and its still less than 6 months when you have your medical or interview i dont see why not.

Maybe the website is down?? After such a roll of approvals it seems odd that there wasnt a single one yesterday.........

    Oh and a question-

does anyone know whether the passport style pics for the medical and the Interview have to be NEW ? Or can I use the ones submitted with the I 129F for the Medical? Or if I get pics taken now can I use them for the Medical as well as the Interview???

    Nat

yeah its probably safer not to have them look identical to the ones in your original.
