My case is complete... Just waiting to get the interview date. Will i get some letter from Embassy saying they have got my case.. which is callled Pack 4. When do i have to do my medical. How much will it cost. Has any one in here done their medical in recent past. Please help me guys... I am really nervous... in this last leg of the journey.

Please drop in and tell me what to do and what not to do.

Hi Jigi,

My case was forwarded to New Delhi Embassy on Sept 25th. I called on Oct 12th and they told me that my interview has been scheduled for Nov. 28th and my Packet 4 was sent on Oct 11th.

Also, I plan to go to New Delhi between Nov. 15th to 17th to do my Medical and drop the documents to VFS. I found this link about the cost. I hope this helps. You should get the interview date soon.

My mother lives in India and she will have status adjusted in India.

I just got the DS-3032. What option do I pick? I am leanging toward 'No agent' and I want to specify USA address? Is this a good idea? Please help,

You should become her agent so you can go through the whole process faster. The mail in India is not very reliable if she does not get the documents it can delay your process.

I do not know the NVC offers that option.

However, the DS-3032 form needs to be signed by the beneficiary/applicant (spouse being sponsored). Not signed by the petitioner (you).

So given there is a "signature and date" section on the bottom of the page. I would think the NVC requires the original document and not a scanned/emailed version.

You dont need the orignal document. You can just state in the email that you want to appoint the following person as choice of Agent. I know a lot of people who did that including myself and that was sufficient for NVC.

Yes. You should email. One of my Friends email was accepted in 7 days last month.

Hi we recieved an RFE for most recent tax returns. I used " E- filing" last year for my taxes can i still request a tax return from the IRS and would i request a form 1040, anyone with any info or prior experience with this please respond, thanks in advance.

You can get a Tax Transcripts for past 3 years from IRS that will be sufficient.
