  1. today and that is 12 days after NVC receive form ds 230 , i call NVC and AVR tell me next...

NVC had review you document and found information missing or incomplete .NVC send you a letter on January 25 , once this information is receive please allow 6-8 weeks for review, and that you will be notify.

So i wonder what could that be , i will call them today, i check all document 100 times to make sure all i fine.

    Anyone with same experience?

    Hi arrnell,

The same thing happened to me. I got the same message today. I also checked 100 times before I sent the package. Really can't think of anything that can be missing!!!! Very strange.

  2. For those who think the page disappeared, try going into it directly HERE.

I tried to pay just now 3:30pm EDT 15-Apr-2008 and the transaction isn't going through due to it being offline.....

    EDIT!!

You can't pay online with FIREFOX. I had to use Internet Explorer and now my payment has been entered!!

Spoke too soon again. Tried to continue to the receipt page and a database error occurred. It kicked me out, I had to log back in and the screen shows a payment status of not paid. Now since it said that they already requested the money from my bank, I hope that they don't get the money and not record it as being paid!

Hi badspellor, it probably did not go through. Payment status for both my bills show: IN PROCESS.

  3. Hi guys, I just successfully paid both my bills online. Hope this time everthing will go smoothly. Of course, the first AOS cashier's check that USPS delivered to USDA (supposedly NVC AOS payment processing center) still has not been cashed as of now. Nobody knows where that check is. Let's see what happens with this online payment processing.

Did u just send 2 payments?!

Did you cancel the first check?

I paid both bills online, AOS and IV Bill. Did not cancel the first AOS cashier's check that was delivered to USDA. If they later find it and deposit it, that's OK. Just don't want to wait any longer.

  5. I just called my bank and found out that my cashier's check for AOS Bill has been cashed. Call your bank now and see if NVC also has cashed yours. Good luck!

Hi TyroBe, thanks for letting me know. Guess what I called Both my Bank and NVC just now. My Bank said no, check is still not cashed as of now and Aos payment is not processed at NVC. OBviously, sth is wrong. Looks like my AOS cashier's check is lost, God knows where. Planning to do it online. Hope that will work. Totally frustrated.

  6. The NVC accepted my payment online today. It s in processing now. Good luck.

Hi xichdu, congratulations! Did you pay Both fees (AOS Fee and IV Fee) online? NVC got my AOS payment on the 2nd, as of today, is not processed. So this is great news, I can pay my IV Bill online now. Were you aBle to generate the coversheet after you paid the Bill online?

I think you can pay both online. NO problems at all. After they accept your payment in couple days, you can print cover sheet with your required documents to NVC. I'll Post it for guys.

    Thanks, xichdu!!

  8. Hi guys,

I told you what happened to me under the Topic Title Help Needed for AOS BILL. Here is the update. I called USPS Express Unit today and spoke to a superviser and told him my express item was delivered to the wrong PO box. I asked him why my AOS bill was delivered to USDA instead of National Visa Center in Saint Louis, MO. He said USDA stands for National Finance Center Administrative Collections. It is a finance center where all checks are processed. The center has many many different PO Box numbers and USDA PO Box 790135 is National Visa Center for processing AOS bills. He insisted that my express item was delivered to the correct PO Box. I am really confused. I would like to know if this has ever happened to any VJ memeber who sent the AOS bill by express, the item was delivered to USDA and was processed by NVC. Your reply will be greatly appreciated.

I can't track my AOS bill to where exactly it delivered to, but my situation is very similar to you regarding the time at St. Louis. I sent my AOS bill via priority mail on April 1st, and it arrived in St. Louis on April 2nd just like yours. I checked online and here's all I see:

    Status: Delivered

Your item was delivered at 11:11 PM on April 2, 2008 in SAINT LOUIS, MO 63179.

As of 04/11/08, my cashier's check hasn't been cashed yet (I just called my bank and verified). If someone gave me a check on the 2nd I would not wait until after 11th to cash it. But NVC, like most govt services, is notorious for inefficiency. I would say give the slow NVC a little time. Hopefully, by early next week it'll process both our AOS bill. Good luck!

Thanks Tyrobe. Hopefully they will process our bills next week. Let's keep each other posted.

  10. I don't have photoshop or the Infran on my computer...I'm doing everything from my job's computer...Do you think the pixel is clear if I copy and paste to a word document and resize it there and print it on a black and white printer????...

I pasted mine into Paintbrush / Paint which is included in Windows. I cropped out the IDAutomation bit and selected the barcode, copied pasted into MS Word following the shortcut instructions again at that point. Worked with my I-864 fee bill which has already been accepted. Just got word today that my DS-3032 email was accepted as well using the new template on the Wiki. It was sent from a GMail address in the name of the beneficiary.

Hi badspellor, do you mind telling me how you sent the AOS Bill to Saint Louis, by express or regular mail? I sent mine by express on the 31st of March and NVC got it on the 2nd of April. I called NVC today, they still don't have my check. By the way, how do you know they have already accepted your fee bill. Thank you in advance for your reply.

  11. if I were you just check the address again make you you send to the right po box.

i have check on google about the USDA po box in saint louis look

    USDA/Rural Development. P. O. Box 790301. St. Louis, MO 63179

    compare to

Department of State po box 790135 St. Louis, MO 63179

only one to two number off. if you make a mistake just call NVC asking them to see if you can re-rend the money again. or asking them for the IIN for payment online.

    Hi coolgt,

I triple checked. I sent to: National Visa Center, PO Box 790135, Saint Louis, MO 63179-0135. The cashier's check was made to: Dept. of State. So I don't know why USPS delivered it to USDA.

  12. Have you called them yet? I would call them and wait to speak with a real person to find out if they did receive it. They might have it in their system as received even if your bank shows they haven't cashed the cashier's check.

Btw, call them really late at night or very early in the morning EST so you can get through.

    Diana

Yes, I did. I called NVC early this morning and spoke to a real person and was told that as of today, they still don't have my AOS payment. I am afraid I proBaBly need to send them another cashier's check. Very frustrated.

  13. Did you send a personal check? The AOS bill clearly states:

Please return this portion with a cashier's check or money order in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank made payable to: the Department of State

If you sent a personal check it'll probably be sent back and you'll have to send a cashier's check or money order.

    Diana

Hi Diana, I sent a casher's check drawn on a U.S. bank made payable to the Dept of State.

  14. Hi guys.

I expressed the AOS Bill on the 31st to NVC and NVC did not get it until the 2nd of April (oBviously, USPS did not deliver as promised, the item was supposed to Be overnight delivery). It has Been 11 days and the check has not even Been cashed (I checked with my Bank today). Is it normal?I am afraid NVC might have lost my check. Should I send another check?

By the way, the USPS tracking system indicates that the item was delivered to USDA 790135 at 12:38PM on April, 2008 in SAINT LOUIS, MO 63179 and was signed By T UJOHNSON. Does anyone know what this USDA stands for?Has anyBody had their mail signed By this T UJOHNSON person when sending the payment to NVC By express? Your reply is greatly appreciated.

  15. As I said...I have emailed them seeking clarification about it. When I get a reply I will be sure to update the board. This could be a valuable step that can be added to the "shortcuts".

This is something new, if I am not mistaken. I checked NVC weBsite last week and I did not see this. It will Be great if we can pay it online. Please let us know when you get a reply from NVC. I douBle checked my AOS Bill NVC sent me, there is no invoice numBer on it only the case #. I would like to know how we can get an invoice numBer?

  16. Yes you can still use I-864EZ, because you are sponsoring only one immigrant at this time.

    From the actual I-864EZ form.

The sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating based on the underlying visa petition.
So, yes you may have noted their children on the I-130 but they are not immigrating, I-130 has no derivative status for children, in order for them to immigrate they need a separate I-130 filed for them.

Hi YuAndDan, thank you so much for your reply!!

I would really recommend that you attach a note to the I-864EZ that specifically states that his son is not immigrating with the father at this time.

Thanks, Daveed. I will do that.

  17. Hi guys,

I sent my AOS Bill to NVC in early morning on March 31 2008. It was a guaranteed delivery By noon on April 1st., according to the post office clerk. However, it was not delivered as promised. Today is the 2nd. I just checked on USPS WEBSITE aBout the status. It says: Your item arrived at the SAINT LOUIS, MO 63179 processing center at 10:59 AM on April 2, 2008 and is ready for pickup. What does that mean? Does that mean that USPS is waiting for someBody from NVC to pick up my AOS Bill? Has this happened to anyone Before. This is the first time I mailed an express item to a PO BOX. Your response is appreciated.

  19. I am preparing for I-864 and I need some advice from you. I am planning to file I-864EZ because I am using my income only to sponsor my hubby. However, his son was listed on I-130 in the children section but he is not immigrating to the States. Can I still use I-864EZ? Because on I-864EZ, in the "Who May Use Form I-864EZ" section, it says "The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on the Form I-130 petition. I don't know if that applies to my situation, since his son is listed on I-130, though I am not sponsoring him. I would like to know if there is any VJ memBers who successfully used I-864EZ even iwith their spouse's child listed on I-130.Thank you in advance for your reply.
