May 24th -- New Passport appointment. Routine Processing. No Date of Travel. May 31st -- Received and Processing at Locator 10 Boston Passport Agency Jul 27th -- Approved and Shipped Aug 1st -- Delivered via USPS Priority Mail standard shipping Altogether, a processing time of 8 weeks and 1 day on routine application without a noted date of travel. State Department lists routine processing at 10-13 weeks. Boston Locator 10 moves fast. Waiting to receive supporting documents now.

Both Passport and Naturalization certificate are with the State Department, so suspect I'll have to wait till I get my Passport back to get status updated with SS office. Can one just update their SS record (not a new SS card) by visiting the local SS office with a copy of their Naturalization certificate a good month after their Oath? The ceremony MC said it'd be fine to visit the local SS office in 10 days as it takes about that long for them to be notified of the new naturalization statue. Original Nats with the State department with the US Passport application. Thanks!
