Curious is this the info you read about it on uscis?
https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-601instr.pdf
It notes that there are different qualifying relatives for different types of inadmissibility. You stated the concern with your parents is misrepresentation?
2. Immigration Fraud or Misrepresentation
If you are inadmissible because you sought to procure an immigration benefit by fraud or misrepresented a material fact (INA section 212(a)(6)(C)(i)), you may seek a waiver by filing this application.

A. Your qualifying U.S. citizen, or lawful permanent resident relative (spouse or parent), or the K visa petitioner would experience extreme hardship if you were denied admission; or
Not sure if this is one of the waivers that can be filed in advance or you have to wait till interview/refused/told if waiver available as is the more usual course of things.Thank you. I was just going to post this.
This is confirming that I can ask for a waiver

A child is not a qualifying relative anyway.
I read info about it on USCIS and it’s not confirming your statement.

Could you explain, please?

Not me. My mom and her ex-husband were trying to get DV visa in 2003 at the embassy. They got a letter saying that they’re inadmissible because of some facts of misrepresentation.
Nobody exactly knows what did the immigration officer find or what led to that decision.I am a citizen now and trying to bring my mom here. That’s why I’m curious if I need to file I-601 before I will file I-130.

Hello,
Is there any way how a person check if he is inadmissible to enter/immigrate to states?
Can that person make a FOIA request to DOS or USCIS and ask straightfoward?
Thank you

It looks like people with application in Tuscan get the new gen passport only.

Mine was NH. Took about 1 month with expedited shipping and service. Still waiting on naturalization certificate.
Does anyone know how long the naturalization certificate takes to get back on average?
Thank you.
I guess I have no chance to get the new gen passport from NH

Has anybody had experience with the agency with locator code 68 (New Hampshire)?

I still hope to receive a new one :). It looks more modern.
Has anybody applied for passport recently in Los Angeles?
I applied at Burbank City Clerk's office on August, 31.

I did mention on the application that I wanted to go to Italy in October (but of course I wasn't sure and my plans have changed already anyways), and I ordered the thick book, not a regular one. Not sure if these 2 variables effected the processing time.
Have you gotten a new design passport or the old one?

I'm on the same page with you. I sent my IRS transcript online thru my.uscis.gov. My status has changed to "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received. USCIS has begun working on your case again. We will send you a decision or notify you if we need something from you."
I'm wondering how long will it take to process it?

Hello,
I had some problems with moving on my case at USCIS. My immigration officer asked me to pay off my tax obligations for 2019 and provide an official letter from IRS confirming that.
1) How long does it take to process payments? I made payments last week and it yet be posted.
2) How can I request IRS the letter my officer asked about?
Thank you!
