  1. LOL! Too funny. I am glad you are ok though, lysol is some strong stuff.

I have 3 cleaners for different parts of the house.

Kitchen: Fabuloso (Love that stuff from when I lived in Mexico)

Bathrooms: Not sure what its called but its made by Lysol however its "green" so its A LOT lighter.

    Everywhere else pledge

I am oldest of 8 kids and have had to clean for YEARS and am quite OCD about it. Hubby takes a spray bottle of Windex and cleans the whole house with it. I have lavender scented Windex and the bottle was 1/2 gone when I came home Saturday. LOL! Sweet man! At least he cleaned and I am not complaining. He just owes me a bottle of lavender windex. HAhhahaa

  5. light a fragrant candle in the bathroom

it will help with the smell for when she gets home =)

I'd wait for the chemicals to dissipate first. I think they may be combustible. ;)

    Two points:

    1. My wife and I aren't living together yet. We will be relatively soon, however. Our visa is on the way! :)

    2. An explosion would be awesome. So long as I'm not in it, no one is killed, and I'm not blamed for it.

gosh .... you showed your wife a preview if you get creative with project "cleaning"..she knows now what to expect

Is it "spring cleaning fever" pool??

  6. This is super fast. I just received the Interview Letter yesterday. However I have planned a trip to go back Hong Kong next week because my mother will undergo a surgery. My question is - can I call immigration to postpone my interview one month later because I was told that after filing the n400, we are not suposed to travel abroad. Or do I have to cancel my trip? Please advise..thanks everyone.

Under urgent circumstances you can reschedule the interview ,do explain them your valid reason so that they know .Good luck!!

  7. Well......

Since she won't be able to come to my country in about 4 months,,,

Should we fax the US embassy in my country where we will have our next interview, stating that she won't be able to come until then, and to please add this proof to our case numer BGT.............?

    Fax what? What proof?

We were thinking to fax to the embassy a medical excuse, stating she cannot go in an airplane until her treatment is over, ( because the consul may think that my fiance is to come with in a month, even though we have 1 year to go to the embassy for the interview)..just thinking that it would be kind of weird for her to show up in a long period of time....

We were also thinking to call the NVC, and explainto them she won't be able to come!

    Thanks for your help!

Don't get your question here ,its vague. You both should attend interview within 1 yr with all documents required or asked by them ,you can preferably suggest them a particular date or month ,rest is upto them.Hope this helps.

  8. The good things:

Being made to get to know eachother through talking about stuff that you probably wouldn't talk about in a normal relationship.

The extended honeymoon period - Everytime I see Chris after being apart for so long, I get butterflies in my stomach. When I first see him, I just think, 'ugh, god you're hot!'

The absolutely pointless conversations. They have made us laugh soooo much! We can literally talk sh*t to eachother for hours... If anyone were to listen in they would think we were completely nuts!

I wholly agree with the snoring thing! I have never been with anyone that makes so much noise when they are asleep!!! (He also turns over automatically. All I have to do now is cough loudly and he's straight on his side :D ) I wear ear plugs and I can STILL hear him!

    The bad things:

The heartache of not knowing when you are going to see eachother again.

The feeling of your heart being ripped out when you have to walk away at the airport.

Not being able to share special occasions. I cannot WAIT to spend Christmas, birthdays, Easter and every single occasion with Chris.

Arguments - They are ALWAYS worse on the phone. Sometimes things are misconstrued because you haven't got facial expressions to look at. Things can easily be taken the wrong way.

  9. Sorta OT....but I made these yesterday. Vanilla cupcakes + Meyer lemon curd filling + cream cheese frosting. Then my co-workers ate them all up.

I love baking. Now I have extra lemon curd to eat!

  10. Just wondering if the Xpresspost Envelope is available for purchase at the consulate?

    Thanks.

they are picky about the size mentioned ,get it in advance or buy from them ......they had a big pile of them,
